Alex's POV
His eyes darkened as his jaw clenched. No one could know what he was thinking at that moment. His mind seemed to have a battle with his heart. He wanted to believe it, but he couldn't.
He didn't want to live on that hope and later on only discover that it was fake, but neither did he want to give it up.
There we all sat in dead silence, no one daring to break it and no one wanting to. Each and every heart & mind in the room was busy daydreaming about what the future could look like, while each mind thought about the disappointment it would bring if this were false. But the question is who should we listen to? The light saying our lives might go back to normal, or the reality which might hit us later? Either way no one in this room was going to let it g
