I allowed my eyes to travel around, searching for something that spoke to me. For a military base, the place was surprisingly beautiful. Despite the big cement buildings, the whole area was surrounded by nature. Green fields stretched all the way along the training ground until they turned into dark forest. There was a lot of space, but almost none of it was private. Clusters of soldiers were everywhere, either jogging in sets of two, marching while singing, or completing chores.
