Whatever it takes

Chapter 15

PARKER'S  POV 

It was now time for prom and I was pacing like crazy in the hallway waiting on Alex. Callie had arrived over an hour ago and kicked me out of the room. My head snapped to the side when someone chuckled to see Kyle leaning against the doorframe smirking at me, “what?” I snapped. He chuckled again and pushed himself off the frame, “if you’re like this over prom I can only imagine what you’ll be like on your wedding day.” 

“That obvious huh?” I chuckled back, I was actually more worried about Alex throwing up again than this prom but I couldn’t tell anyone yet. I looked towards the front door as it opened and Aaron walked in, “you were meant to be here an hour ago, Callie is already here,” I scolded. “I know, I’m sorry man, my mom wanted pictures with my gran and everyone else,” he replied and looked away from me quickly. I frowned and stared at him, he was lying, what would he have to lie about? “something wrong?” I asked raising my eyebrow giving him a chance to tell me the truth. 

 “No, just feel weird in this suit is all,” he replied quickly. “My mom just linked me, the girls are ready,” Kyle cut in before I could call him out. I sighed deeply and turned towards the stairs, I’d talk to him later. A minute or so later my mom and Alex's appeared at the top of the stairs with Grace and Jade. “Wait until you see them, oh my god they’re so beautiful,” Jade gushed as she jumped off the bottom step. “Yeah, they look amazing I can’t wait for my own prom,” Grace added as she stopped beside me. My mom smiled and walked to my dad who I’d only noticed now had come from the living room with my uncle, Alex's dad her brothers and the twins. 

At the clicking of heels I looked up the stairs and everyone disappeared as my gorgeous girl appeared. She stopped when she noticed my eyes on her and gave me a big grin, she knew I was mesmerized, she knew I couldn’t take my eyes off her. She took the rest of the stairs and walked to me, “hey handsome,” she giggled and ran her hands up my chest, “damn you look so sexy,” she murmured for my ears only. 

I smiled and took her hands, taking a step back I looked her up and down, “wow, baby you look so beautiful, that dress is stunning on you,” I said and took a step closer to her, “you look so incredibly sexy I won’t be able to keep my hands off you.” She giggled and kissed me sweetly, “oh I have plans for later babe don’t worry.....let’s get these pictures out of the way so we can go.” I nodded and took her hand, glancing at Aaron I frowned as him and Callie stood side by side not even looking at one another.....something was definitely going on, and I intended on finding out. 

ALEXA'S POV 

After a load of pictures by ourselves and with everyone else we finally left and were on our way to prom. Parker insisted on driving instead of getting a car, none of us planned on drinking anyway....not that I could. The car was too quiet for my liking, now that I think about it Callie was awfully quiet while we got ready. My mom had even asked her was she okay, “Cal, are you okay? You don’t look happy,” I linked. Her eyes met mine in the mirror before she sighed and looked back out the window, “it’s nothing, Aaron and I had a fight this morning,” she replied. 

“A big one? Do you want to talk about it?” I asked. “A stupid one, no, we'll be okay we just didn’t have time to talk about it before we had to get ready, don’t worry about it,” she replied and sent me a quick smile. I knew Callie so well, she was lying and whatever it is was bothering her more than she let on. Signing deeply I glanced at Aaron who was moping while looking out the window, “hold her hand and tell you need to talk and sort things out before you go into prom,” I linked. 

His eyes snapped to mine, “she told you?” he asked with a worried look on his face. “No, she told me it was a stupid fight and not to worry about it, Callie can’t lie, please fix it before we go inside,” I replied. He nodded and looked back out the window. “What was that all about?” Parker linked and glanced at me, I forgot he could feel my emotions now, “They’re fighting, I asked them to sort it out so their night is not ruined,” I replied. 

He smiled and slid his hand into mine, “you’re so sweet worrying about everyone else, but please babe, calm down your emotions are bouncing off me like a bolt of lightning I don’t want you to throw up.” “Sorry, I just think there’s more than she’s telling me, I’m worried,” I linked back. “I’ll talk to him when we get there, don’t stress out beautiful,” he replied and squeezed my hand. 

 A few minutes later Parker spoke pulling me from my thoughts, “do you guys have any plans tomorrow?” he asked. Arron looked over at Callie and slid his hand into hers, “we actually planned a day out together,” he replied sending her a smile. “Fancy breakfast before you go?” he asked causing me to frown, we had planned on just staying in bed all day tomorrow and relaxing. Friday was graduation and we'd be busy all day. Callie nodded and looked over at Aaron with a smile, “sure, we’d love to,” she replied. Aaron smiled back at her and leaned in to kiss her......guess they sorted their fight out. Guess I can relax and enjoy prom now. 

AARON'S POV

The night was going well, Callie was having a great time and that made me happy. Parker and Alexa were having fun too, we ate and danced and laughed. We spoke to some teachers about college and plans for the summer, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. Callie and I had argued about telling Alexa what I saw earlier, I had insisted we tell her and shouldn’t keep something like that from her, but Callie insisted we didn’t tell her because she was pregnant and we didn’t need to stress her out. 

Seeing Dionne my mood dampened, my skin crawled at the thoughts of her and Steven. Watching her laughing with her friends made me sick, I wanted to go over there and wipe that stupid smile off her face. “Are you okay?” Callie asked pulling me from my staring. Looking over at her I frowned, “what?” she shook her head and nodded towards Dionne, “you’re growling and staring.” “I’m sorry babe,” I sighed out, “I can’t get it out of my head, I need to at least tell Parker.” “No, he'll tell Alexa, we can’t stress her out Aaron,” she huffed. I sighed again and leaned into her, kissing her deeply I pulled back, “then I can’t stay here, I’m sorry, I can’t stay and look at her,” I said and went to walk off. 

Callie grabbed my arm quickly, “you’re leaving me in the middle of prom?” she whimpered. My heart broke as her eyes filled with tears and her bottom lip quivered. “Baby,” I sighed out. “No!” she yelled causing a few people to look our way, “do I mean that little to you that you can’t put it aside for a few hours? Do I mean that little to you that you could ruin my one and only prom night?” she yelled. “Don’t be stupid Callie! You mean everything to me and you know that!” I yelled back. “Let’s take a walk,” came Parker’s voice as his hand wrapped around my arm and he began to pull me away. 

Once outside the hall he dropped my arm and walked in front of me, “talk, I know whatever you and Callie are fighting about is big, you can’t lie Aaron I know there’s something you’re both keeping hush.” I scrubbed my hands over my face and leaned against the wall, I had to tell him, he should know. “I was late picking up Callie's corsage, walking back to my car I saw Steven at the end of the lot. Before I could call out to him Dionne appeared beside him, they went to the back of the building so I followed them.” He frowned and leaned on the wall beside me, “why would he be with her? What were they doing?” “I don’t know, I stayed back so they wouldn’t see me, all I heard was her asking him if he knew what he was doing and he said he did......then I stuck my head around the corner when it went quiet to see them having s*x,” I replied quickly. 

PARKER'S POV 

 I don’t know what I was feeling right now, I stood rooted to my spot staring at Aaron like he'd grown an extra head. Anger started to rise in me, “Dionne?” I said slowly after I found my words, “and Alex's dad? Having s*x?” He nodded and sighed deeply, “I’m sorry man, I should have told you earlier but Callie insisted we didn’t so we wouldn’t upset Alexa. That’s all I saw and heard, I was so creeped out that I ran back to my car and went home. 

“Dionne and Alex's dad?” I said again, I shuddered at the thought. “What is that sick b***h up to? Why the f**k would Steven go near her? How could he cheat on his mate and her not feel it? They were both there at my house looking all loved up, it wasn’t put on either.” “You told him!?” Callie screeched from behind us. I turned to face her and scowled at her, I know she was only looking out for Alex but they should have told me. “Yes he told me!” I hissed, “I get you were trying to protect Alex but this is serious Callie! Her dad was f*****g another woman! A woman who hates her and wants nothing more than to ruin her!” I yelled. 

“Parker you can’t tell her!” she yelled back. “I’m not gonna tell her,” I replied calmly, “this stays between us three, clearly Dionne is up to something. We need to do a little digging, there has to be a reason for all of this and most importantly why Zara never felt it.” “How do you know she didn’t?” Callie asked. “They arrived at my house hand in hand and were all over each other, no one is that good of an actor,” I replied. “Where do we start?” Aaron asked. I thought for a moment and looked back to him, “we do nothing tonight, tomorrow I want you to come with me to where you saw them, there has to footage around, then I’ll hit Steven and see what he has to say.....and no one tell Alex anything,” I finished just as the door opened. 

“There you all are!” Alex called as she walked towards us, “I go to pee and you all abandon me,” she giggled. “Sorry babe,” I replied and pulled her into my arms, “Callie and Aaron were bickering so I brought them out here to sort it.....come dance with me,” I said and pulled her along, “You two sort it! It’s not worth ruining your prom for!” I called and pulled Alex back into the hall. 

Getting to the dancefloor I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer to me, “what?” she giggled and locked her arms around my neck as I stared at her. “Nothing, I just love looking at my gorgeous girl,” I smiled and kissed her sweetly, “I’ve got a surprise for you later babe,” I added and pulled her against me. 

ALEXA'S POV 

Later that night we had just dropped Callie and Aaron off at his house, they had been oddly quiet on the way home but I brushed it off as them being tired from the long day. Looking over at Parker I see him frowning to himself, reaching over I ran my fingers up into his hair, “what’s on your mind baby? You look deep in thought.” He glanced over at me and smiled, “I’m good babe, we’re nearly at your surprise.” “Parker you really didn’t have to do anything, I just wanted to spend prom with you and have fun and we did,” I replied. 

He reached back and pulled my hand from his hair before kissing it and lacing our fingers together, “I want my baby to always be happy, I think this will make you happy.....close your eyes babe,” he said a little excitedly. “What are you up to?” I giggled. “Just close them beautiful eyes,” he chuckled. I giggled again and closed my eyes, “Okay, they’re closed.” “Just one more minute,” he replied. 

Feeling the car roll to a stop excitement filled me, I had a million things running through my head of what he could have planned. I jumped slightly as I felt his lips on mine, “easy babe,” he murmured and kissed me again. I felt him pull away from me and heard his door open, “keep them eyes closed, I’ll walk around and get you,” he said before the door closed. A few seconds later the door opened and he took my hands, “slide out babe and be careful,” he instructed. I turned my body to the side and giggled as his hands landed on my hips and he lifted me down. 

 “I’m gonna guide you just keep walking straight,” he said and led me along. A few seconds later we stopped and he dropped my hands, “one sec, no peeking babe.” A few seconds later I felt him behind me, “open your eyes beautiful,” he murmured in my ear sending shivers down my spine. I opened my eyes and blinked a few times, there in front of me stood the most beautiful house I’d ever seen. It was huge, the blue front door was so beautiful and calling to me. Counting quickly I counted four windows downstairs alone and maybe six on the first floor, I was too excited to finish counting. “Parker what is this place? It’s amazing, it’s so beautiful. Is it like a bed and breakfast or something? Are we staying here tonight? He slid his arms around my front and rested his chin on my shoulder, “how about we stay here for the rest of our lives?” he said casually. 

I gasped and my eyes went wide, whipping around quickly I looked up at him like a lost puppy. He smiled widely and slid his hand onto my cheek, “surprise babe, this is our forever home.” 

PARKER'S  POV 

She burst out crying and threw herself at me, I caught her and wrapped my arms around her, “Alex what’s wrong? Do you not like it babe? We don’t have to live here, I just thought it was perfect for us, please don’t cry,” I said quickly. She pulled back and looked up at me with her teary eyes, “I can’t believe you did this for me! I love it! It’s perfect! I love you!” she cried and threw herself back into my arms. 

I let out a sigh of relief and tugged her head back, “I love you more than anything in this world Alex, I’ll always do my best to make sure you’re happy.” She wiped her eyes and stood up on her toes, “as long as I have you I’ll always be happy,” she replied and kissed me. Deepening the kiss my hands travelled to her ass and lifted her off the ground, she wrapped her legs around me and shoved her tongue down my throat. Walking to the front door I pinned her to it and kissed her hard, “wanna christen our new house babe?” I panted. She giggled and pulled me back to her lips, “yes sexy, get the door open,” she murmured and kissed me again. 

Fiddling with the key I finally unlocked it and pushed it in with my foot, carrying her inside I kicked it closed and searched for light switch. Turning it on she pulled away from me and looked around, “wow, Parker this is amazing! I thought the place would be empty.” Nah, all done and ready to move in whenever we want, your mom helped me pick out stuff she thought you’d like but we can change anything you want. She smiled widely and looked back to me, “you’re so sweet, I can’t even describe how much I love you Parker.” 

“You don’t need to, I feel exactly the same way about you,” I replied and kissed her sweetly. “Do you want a tour now or later?” She smirked and locked her arms tighter around me, “How about we start with our room?” I chuckled and started to walk towards the stairs, “you read my mind babe.....we can see the rest tomorrow,” I replied and kissed her deeply. I was so glad she liked it, keeping it from her stressed the life out of me.. I’m so glad she never copped on to anything, and thankfully her mom can keep a secret too. 

Thinking about her mom made me think of her dad and what Aaron had told me, there is definitely something going on here and it was definitely about Alex. I had to thread carefully with this, I couldn’t risk anything happening to her or my baby. I’d talk to her dad tomorrow and take it from there. Right now all that matters is this beauty under me staring up at me with the same love in her eyes that I have for her.....my Queen, my everything. 

DIONNE'S POV

A house? He bought her a f*****g HOUSE!!! That should be me! It should have been me he was dancing with and looking at all night. It should be me he was carrying into our new home mine! Mine! Mine! I should be Luna I WILL BE LUNA! That b***h was in for it now, I was so mad I couldn’t even thinking straight. Stamping my foot on the ground I whirled around and stormed back towards my car, gripping my keys I dug them into his car and scraped all along it as my temper flared. I’ll get even, oh I’ll get even. 

Slamming my car door I started up my car and sped off, I couldn’t believe he chose her over me, that he was f*****g her instead of me. I only wanted him coz he was next for Alpha and I would be his Luna with all the money he has, I’d never have to work a day in my life. He would provide for me, I’d get to boss everyone around, I would even get rid of his annoying little sister. Oh changes were coming, big changes, I’ve been working on my powers and spells . I was in control now and my plan was fool proof. 

 Pulling up at my house I climbed out and made my way inside slamming the front door behind me. “Shayne!” I yelled out. “Office babe!” he called back. I stormed along the hall and burst into his office. Slamming the door I flung my bag onto the sofa. “Baby what’s wrong?” he asked softly as I marched towards him....things had definitely changed between us. 

“Nothing, I just want you to f**k me,” I huffed as I slid my underwear down. He sat back and undid his pants before pulling them down his legs, I hiked up my dress and climbed onto him. We both moaned as I slid down onto him, he slid his hand into my hair and pulled my head back, “what’s on your mind?” he asked concerned. Then I did something I thought I’d never do, “you, just you, I love you, please don’t ever leave me,” I whimpered as I moved slowly....this was a real passionate intimate moment which caused butterflies in my stomach, I’ve never felt like this before. 

He stared at me for a moment before he leaned into me, “I love you baby, I’m never going anywhere, promise,” he said and kissed me slowly. “Shayne,” I moaned as I started to move faster. “Baby,” he whispered and gripped me tighter. 

“WHAT THE f**k IS THIS!!! “ my mom screeched behind us. I ignored her and went faster, “aww f**k! f**k!” I cried out. “Damn baby! Aww don’t stop!” Shayne yelled. 

“You sick bastard! What are you doing to my daughter!” my mom yelled. I waved my hand in the air and sent her on her back out of the room before the door slammed shut. “That is so f*****g hot,” he growled and launched forward before throwing me onto his desk. Maybe someone could love me for me.....after my plan of course.
