Chapter 11

CALLIE'S POV

Later that afternoon myself and Alexa lay on the sand watching Parker and Aaron mess about in the water. I couldn’t believe how the day had turned out, I still couldn’t believe Aaron was my mate. I think the most we've ever said to each other over all the years we'd known each other was a few ‘hi's and once he asked me for a pen. It didn’t matter though, I knew he was a nice sweet guy...I was smitten already. 

I glanced over at Alexa to see her staring off into space. I could tell she didn’t want to be here and who could blame her, I think she was just trying to make Parker happy. I know the way my best friend thinks, she thinks this is all her fault and the guilt will eat her alive if she didn’t make it up to him. Leaning into her I bumped her with my shoulder, “wanna talk?” 

She sighed heavily and looked down at her hands, “I’m a terrible mate, since we got together it’s been nothing but trouble that I caused, he deserves someone better than me. He deserves someone that can make him happy....he deserves someone who's not a mess,” she muttered. “Lex,” I sighed and scooted closer to her, “are you having second thoughts?” I asked worried. I knew she lover Parker, this didn’t make any sense. “If I just reject him and go home my dad will calm down and things will be normal again, I don’t want him to get hurt or have to worry about my dad. I want him to be happy and have a normal life.” Anger rose in me, I lashed out and slapped her across the face, “that is bullshit and you know it Alexa! The only one that’s to blame for any of this is your dad! Parker loves you and wants to be with you! Why would you even think about hurting him like that? He's risked a lot too to be with you and he doesn’t even care! He just wants you! Stop being an i***t forget about your dad and let yourself be happy coz that guy is not going anywhere!” I ranted....still couldn’t believe I slapped her though. 

She stared back at me open mouthed with her hand on her cheek, I sighed and scooted a little closer, “I’m sorry Lex, I didn’t mean to lash out, I’m so sorry I slapped you. I just don’t want to see you ruin things for yourself, Parker is head over heels in love with you any i***t can see it.” “You’re right,” she said after a minute, “I am an i***t, I love him and want nothing more than to be with him. You’re right it is all on my dad and I’m not gonna waste another second feeling guilty or thinking about it. It’s time to start my own life, I’m gonna be happy.” “That’s my girl,” I giggled and looked back to the boys in the water. 

ALEXA'S POV

After my little pity party with Callie I felt so much better, she was right, everything she said was true, Parker loves me, I love him, there’s no way in hell I’d ever be able to walk away from him. “What’s on your mind beautiful?” Parker asked and slid his hand into mine as we drove away from the beach. I smiled and looked over at him, “you, and the fact that we get to sleep together from now on like a normal couple.” He grinned widely and glanced over at me, “so you’re okay staying with me? I mean we can go and stay at yours whenever you want, just for now I’d rather you stay at mine,” he rambled. 

I smiled and just watched him for a minute, “how about I just don’t leave?” I asked “Parker!” I yelled and grabbed the dash as he skidded to a stop on the side of the road. “Are you saying what I think you’re saying?” he asked with that smile I loved so much. I smiled wider and leaned in a little towards him, “if it’s okay with you and your parents I’d like to move in with you permanently.” He launched at me and pulled me onto his lap, “Yes! Yes! Yes! One thousand percent yes!” he yelled and kissed everywhere on my face. “Parker,” I giggled, “you have to ask your mom and dad first.” He leaned in and kissed me slowly, sliding his hands around my back he pulled me closer. After a minute he pulled back and smiled, “they love you, they’ll say yes. You’ve just made me the happiest guy alive, I love you babe,” he grinned and leaned back into me, “future starts now,” he murmured and kissed me again. We broke apart at a beep behind us and looked to see Aaron had pulled in behind us. Giggling I slid back into my own seat and did my belt, “we should get going,” I giggled. He chuckled and slid his hand into mine as we pulled away. 

Pulling up outside his house the four of us climbed out and walked up the front steps, “guys we'll meet you in the entertainment room, I just need to see my parents about something, Aaron you know where it is,” Parker said. “I do,” Aaron said and took Callie's hand before leading her down the hall. I watched them go and turned back to Parker, “are you asking them right now?” “What? I’m excited,” he chuckled and took my hand. “I know you’re excited babe but Callie and Aaron are here, can we do it later?” I asked as he pulled me towards his dads office. He stopped and turned back to me, “are you having second thoughts?” he asked as his eyes searched my face. “No, of course not, I just meant we could do it later or in the morning.” “Parker! Alexa!” his mom called coming from the kitchen. 

PARKER'S POV 

We both turned as my mom called out, “hey mom,” I said as she got closer. She stopped in front of us and looked at Alexa, “how are you honey?” “I’m okay thanks Luna...I’m so sorry my dad caused trouble here last night,” she said nervously. My mom waved her off, “not your fault Alexa, your father has some nerve dragging you in here like a dog, you’ve nothing to be worried about no one is mad at you.” “Is dad about?” I cut in, “we were hopping to talk to the both of you.” My mom looked from me to Alexa before looking back at me, “He and Jake are gone to a meeting...is something wrong?” “No, no, we were just hoping you both would agree to Alexa moving in for good.” 

My mom nodded and looked to Alexa, “that wouldn’t be a problem but I’d like to sit down with your mother and discuss this. Have you spoken to her about this?” “No, I only decided on the way here that I want to live with Parker. I called my mom this morning to see if she was okay, we only talked for a few minutes.” My mom nodded again, “myself and Warren wouldn’t have a problem with it Alexa you’re family now, stay as long as you like. How about we call your mom here tomorrow and we can all talk together?” “Thanks mom, that would be great,” I replied. “I’ll go arrange it now, are you two having dinner with us?” she asked. “Thanks Luna but our friends are here too, we're going to get pizza and watch a movie,” Alexa replied. “Alexa, less of the Luna,” she chuckled, “you call me Louise now....you kids have fun,” she said and walked back to the kitchen. 

I tugged Alexa’s hand and started to lead her towards the entertainment room. “Do you think my mom will be upset that I want to move out?” she asked. I turned to face her and looked down on her, “I think she will be if it’s because of your dad. I think she'll be a little upset at first if you’re doing it because you want to,” I replied. “This isn’t anything to do with my dad Parker,” she said and stepped closer to me “I want to be with you, I want to live with you and start our lives together. We don’t even have to stay here we can find our own place.” I smiled and leaned in to kiss her, “we'll see how it goes with your mom first before we start planning anything.” She nodded and pecked me quickly, “we shouldn’t leave them two along for much longer god only knows what we'll walk into,” she giggled. I dropped my hands to her ass and pulled her against me, “you know, we could leave them be and head up to my room.” She chuckled and stepped back, “later babe, I’m starving,” she replied and pulled me along. 

ALEXA'S POV 

After the movie we were just lying on the sofas chatting, this was nice, it felt good being around them and forgetting what was going on in my life....even if it was just for a few hours. “Do you know what I just realised?” Callie asked pulling me from my thoughts. “Parker, you’re getting your exam results tomorrow, we graduate high school next week.” The room was silent for a minute or two as we all just looked from one to the other. Parker went tense beside me and looked down at the floor, I frowned and tilted my head, “what’s up?” I asked quietly so only he would hear me. He looked up at me and smiled quickly, “nothing for you to worry your beautiful little head about,” he said and kissed me on the cheek. “Parker,” I sighed. He leaned in and kissed me, “Alex it’s nothing,” he said and scooted out from behind me...my ass was it nothing, I’d talk to him when they were gone. 

“I didn’t think it was so close,” Aaron chuckled, “I thought we had a few weeks left. “Any plans for graduation night?” I asked. “No,” he chuckled, “but I do know I’ll be spending it with this one,” he said and pulled Callie closer. “Sorry dude, Alexa and I have been planning all year, we're outta here for the weekend, right Lex?” she asked and looked over at me. “That’s right,” I chuckled. “What? Where?” Parker asked looking over at me. “Me Callie Lewis and Dylan are off for the weekend, we planned it at the start of the year,” I replied. “You’re going away with guys?” Aaron asked and looked down at Callie. She shrugged and stood up, “friends Aaron chill, we’ve been friends with them since we were kids.” “I think we'll have to tag along,” Parker said, “damn right we are,” Aaron muttered and pulled her back down beside him. They were jealous, it was clear as day, Callie and I looked at one another with knowing smirks. “Don’t you have your own plans?” I asked. “We did, but that all changed when I met you, I figured we would be spending it together,” Parker replied. “Yeah me too,” Aaron said and tightened his hold on Callie, “I want to be with you and celebrate.” Again Callie and I looked at one another, “fine, you can come,” I said and stood up, “I’m going to get a shower I’ll see you guys at school tomorrow.” 

“Yeah, I should head too, my mom doesn’t even know I didn’t go to school,” Callie said as she pulled on her coat. “I’ll drop you off,” Aaron said and grabbed his keys, “see you guys tomorrow!” he called as they left. I turned back to Parker to find him watching me, “are you ready to tell me what’s bothering you?” He sighed deeply and stood up, “I told you it was nothing.” I sighed too, “right,” I said slowly, “when you’re ready to tell me what it is I’ll be upstairs,” I said and walked out slamming the door behind me. 

PARKER'S POV 

After Alex slammed the door I went to follow her but stopped myself, I knew it would turn into an argument if I did. Scrubbing my hands over my face I dropped back onto the sofa. I was so nervous about my exam results, if I didn’t pass I would let Alex down and I didn’t want that. I wanted to pass for myself too, I wanted to prove to my dad and everyone else that I could achieve anything if I put my mind to it. I was so stressed worrying about Alex that I’d forgotten all about the exams until Callie mentioned it. Sighing heavily I pulled myself up and made my way up to my room. 

Letting myself in I heard the shower on so I went to the bed and sat down to wait for her. I knew she knew something was bothering me, I did want to tell her but I didn’t want to add anything else to her worries. I was pulled from my thoughts as the bathroom door opened and she walked out, she looked at me for a moment before walking to the other side of the room without a word. Signing I stood up and walked up behind her, sliding my arms around her I pulled her back against me, “I don’t wanna fight with you Alex,” I said quietly and kissed her shoulder. She sighed deeply and threw down her clothes, “I don’t wanna fight with you either Parker but you need to be open and honest with me. “It's stupid Alex, I don’t want you to worry about it, you’ve enough on your plate,” I replied. 

She turned in my arms and looked up at me, “Parker, we're in this together your problems are mine too, you should be able to talk to me about anything. I get you don’t want me to worry but I’m going to if you won’t talk to me. “I’m worried about my results,” I said and stepped away from her to sit on the end of the bed. “I don’t want to let you down, I did this for you Alex and I’ll be gutted if you’re disappointed in me,” I muttered. She walked to me and stopped in front of me, putting her knee on the bed she brought the other one up the other side of me and sat down so she was straddling me, “look at me,” she said. I sighed and looked up at her, “I don’t care what you get Parker, I know you did your best and that’s all I wanted you to do. I won’t be disappointed in you, I’m just happy that you took them. You’ve changed so much since what happened, you’ve turned in to this amazing sweet guy that I love so much.” I slid my hands around her and pulled her “I love you so much Alex I just want to make you happy.” She lowered her head and locked her arms around me, “I am happy Parker, happier than I’ve ever been,” she murmured and kissed me. 

ALEXA'S POV 

The next morning we pulled in at the school, Parker killed the engine and sat back in his seat. He was awfully quiet this morning, I knew he was nervous he’d barely touched his breakfast or said a word the whole way here. I slid my hand onto his and squeezed it, “you’re gonna do great Parker, I’ve all the faith in the world you’re gonna pass,” I said. He turned his hand and laced our fingers together, “thanks babe, I wish I was as sure as you,” he replied and gave me a weak smile. I leaned over him and tugged him closer, “you are gonna pass, I know you are,” I said and kissed him. He pulled me closer and deepened the kiss, after a minute he pulled back and rested his forehead against mine, “suppose we should go in,” he sighed out. I pecked him quickly and pulled away, “yeah, Callie and Aaron are waiting for us,” I said and climbed out of the car. 

Walking around to him I slid my hand into his, he stopped walking and looked down at our hands. He looked up at me and studied my face, “you sure babe?” “Yes,” I nodded and started to pull him towards the door, our families knew now there was no reason to hide it anymore. Getting to the door he pulled me back and kissed me, “I love you Alex,” he murmured and pulled back. “Love you too baby,” I smiled and pulled the door in. As soon as it closed behind us the halls fell silent as everyone stared at us. “Just ignore it all,” he said into my ear and started to lead me down the hall. After what felt like hours we made it to my locker where Callie and Aaron were waiting, “hey guys,” Callie said cheerfully and turned to Parker, “you ready for your results?” she asked. 

Parker looked down on me and smiled, “I’m ready,” he said and pulled me into his side, “I’ve to go see Principal Winters before class, I’ll catch up with you in class.” “I’ll walk you,” I offered. “Nah, you stay here, I’ll find you after,” he said. “Okay,” I said and stood up on my toes, “good luck,” I added and kissed him. He pulled back and stroked my cheek, “love ya babe,” he smiled and kissed me again. “YOU BROKE UP WITH ME FOR THAT b***h!” came a screech down the hall. We broke apart to see Dionne storming towards us with her posse hot on her heels. “Parker! What is the meaning of this!? What are you doing with that i***t!?” she yelled. Parker rolled his eyes and wrapped his arm around me, “get f****d Dionne you little stalker,” he said and led me away from them. I couldn’t help but giggle as Aaron and Callie followed laughing behind us. 

PARKER'S POV

After my meeting with Principal Winters I needed a few minutes to myself before I went looking for Alex. Sitting on the steps at the back of the school I stared down at my exam results, this wasn’t what I’d expected at all. He'd kept me longer than I thought, it was now break time, pulling out my phone I dialled Alex and put the phone to my ear. I chuckled as she answered on the first ring, “hey baby, come meet me at the back steps,” I said and hung up. 

Two minutes later she came running around the corner and up the steps, “hey, I was getting worried,” she panted and dropped down beside me. “Did you run all the way here?” I chuckled and wrapped my arm around her. “I was worried,” she replied and looked up at me, “so?” she asked and tried to read my face. I smiled and reached beside me for the sheet, “see for yourself,” I said and handed it to her. She took it and pulled away from me to read it, I watched her as her eyes scanned the page. A massive smile overtook her face, she caught me off guard as she dived on me sending us both back onto the ground, “I knew you could do it!” she squealed and kissed me, “I’m so happy for you! I’m so proud of you Parker! You did it!” she yelled happily. I chuckled and wrapped my arms around her, “all thanks to you babe....and Callie, you gave me the strength to do it.” She sat up a little and looked down on me, “All A's Parker, you should be so proud of yourself this is amazing, well done baby,” she said and kissed me again. 

Pulling back she stood up and held out her hands, “come with me,” she said. I slid my hands into hers and let her pull me up, “where are we going?” I asked and let her pull me along. “You’ll see,” she giggled and pulled me down the hall. Getting to an empty classroom she pulled me inside and closed the door, without a word she pulled me to her and crashed her lips to mine. Backing her up against the door I deepened the kiss and slid my hand under her skirt to grab her ass, “gotta stop baby,” I mumbled as I felt myself get hard. 

She mumbled something and shook her head before her hands dropped to my button on my jeans, “Alex, don’t tease me babe,” I groaned as she pulled at the zipper. “f**k baby,” I hissed as she wrapped her hand around me. She pulled away and shoved my jeans down, “right here, right now,” she said and pulled me back to her. I didn’t need to be told twice, grabbing her ass I pulled her onto my hips and pinned her to the door. 

ALEXA'S POV 

After last class I walked along the halls towards my locker rubbing my back when Parker appeared beside me, “still sore babe?” he asked and put his hand where mine was. “Yeah,” I sighed and pulled my locker open. “I’m sorry,” he said and kissed my neck, “I didn’t realise the doorknob was so high.” “It’s fine, totally worth it,” I giggled. He chuckled and leaned into my ear, “you surprised me babe, it was amazing, how about when we get home I’ll run you a hot bath and give you a massage?” “Sounds so good,” I groaned and leaned back into him as his hand ran circles on my back. He chuckled and kissed my neck, “hurry on then beautiful,” he said and stepped back. 

“I’m not letting this go Parker!” came Dionne's voice behind us. He sighed and smiled quickly at me before turning to face her, “let what go?” “You!” She hissed and looked at me with disgust, “and that! What are you trying to prove here? You’re with her coz of guilt right? That’s the only reason I can think of. Baby you don’t have to feel guilty, she’s nothing, a nobody,” she said and stepped closer to him. “Stop this madness and come with me,” she added and held out her hand. 

I slapped her hand away and stepped in front of him, “get the f**k away from him you delusional freak! He slept with you a few times Dionne! You’re that messed up in the head that you think you were together! He doesn’t want you! He never did! Come near him again and I’ll rip your f*****g throat out!” I yelled. Parker wrapped his arms around me and pulled me against him, “easy babe,” he murmured and looked back to her, “I’m gonna say this one more time before I take action. I don’t want you Dionne, I never did it was only ever s*x. It was a huge mistake, Alexa is my mate, your future Luna and you will watch how you speak to her and if you look at her like that again there’ll be hell to pay. I don’t want to have this conversation again,” he said and moved around me towards her. “if you do anything to her or try to do anything to her or even say something to her I will kill you got it?” he growled in his Alpha tone....it was so damn sexy. 

She glared back at him then glanced at me, “you’re making a huge mistake Parker.” He smiled and held out his hand for me, “no, you were the mistake Dionne, remember what I said,” he replied and pulled me along. Getting to the car he spun me to face him, “I love Jealous you, so f*****g hot,” he growled and slammed his lips to mine. After a heavy make out session I pulled back, “time to get home, my mom is coming this evening don’t forget.” He smiled and kissed me quickly, “let’s get going then,” he said and opened the door for me. 

A little while later we pulled up outside his house, I sucked in a deep breath and grabbed his arm, “Parker!” I gasped out. He frowned and looked at me, “what? What is it babe?” he asked. “My dad!” I yelled panicked, “that’s my dad’s car!” I yelled and pointed to it. He followed my finger and stared at the car, “what the f**k is he doing here,” he growled and sprang out of the car. I scrambled out quickly after him, “Parker! Wait just wait!” I called and ran to catch up with him. He sighed and turned back to me, “what do you wanna do?” I thought for a moment and looked up at him, “we go in there calmly and see what he wants, hear what he has to say.” He nodded and slid his and into mine, “no matter what, it’s me and you okay?” I nodded and stood up on my toes, “me and you...I love you.” He smiled and lowered his head, “love you too babe,” he said and kissed me sweetly. “Let’s go,” he sighed and pulled away. 

Please moon Goddess! Let this end the drama! I prayed as he led me through the front door.
