The two witches she was asking looked at each other and then at her, fear written all over their faces. Another explosion sounded somewhere to her right and just as she was about to turn her head to look, another one sounded just where she was standing with the two Bennett witches.

She looked to see Zander rushing towards her, he had soot all over his face indicating that when she left him to rush off to check on her mother, he had gone straight into action. He had probably sensed her fear because he had come running and seemed to relax just a bit when he saw her.
