Kharisi embraced Celestine, she had started sobbing when she told her she loved her which made Kharisi wonder what was going through her head. If there was a strong person she knew, it was her mother but the fact that she could be reduced to tears by just three words was apparent something huge was going on inside her mind. She had held on to her for as long as she could and when she felt her sons subside and she started pulling away, Kharisi had let go. She looked at her red rimmed eyes and the tears falling and sighed.
"Oh mother, what is going on?"
It took Celestine a moment to talk but when she finally did, another flood gate of tears opened up between mother and daughter. She confessed to Kharisi of not living up to being a mother and a good mate to her father and the constant fear
