CHAPTER FOUR: The kidnapping

(STELLA’s POV)

Hunter stands up from his crouching position and turns to a lady “She needs to go in now,” Hunter says sternly. She nods and the guy who was carrying me before starts moving closer. No no no don’t come any closer I think to myself. I start to stand up feeling extremely sore and dizzy, but I don’t want to be carried away. I start running in the opposite direction of the mansion which I assume they were trying to take me into. My speed isn’t fast. At all. Hunter was in front of me in a flash and I hit his hard chest. He grabs me before I can hit the ground and starts carrying me bridle style to the massive house. Well not house it looks as though it could be 6 double story houses together!

I start trying to wiggle out of the hold he has on me, but he’s to strong. “Stop moving mate, it will be okay,” he tries to soothe me. I just roll my eyes and struggle more putting up more of a fight with the rest of my energy I left. It’s not like I’ve never heard that before, and it always ended badly.

After continued struggle in his arms I lose all my energy, I can barley move as darkness over takes me.

(HUNTER’s POV)

I’m walk into the pack house and start heading towards our pack house doctor. We have a hospital on our land, but it is closer to where most of our wolves live so we have a couple of doctors in the house as well. We call it the medical wing. My little mate has been struggling in my arms trying to get out of my hold, but to no avail. I’ve tried to tell her that everything will be fine, but she rolled her eyes at me. She’s going to be a hand full I can already tell. That’s okay though I like a challenge.

She’s stopped wiggling in my arms and instead lies limp I look down to see her sleeping. She’s so beautiful! We are almost there and I can here everyone starting to wake up around us so I start to move quicker.

“Good morning young Alpha,” Dr. Procter say bowing. “What can I help you with today,” he says look at my mate rather then me. “This young girl wondered into our pack lands, Mother and Father were gonna deal with the situation, however this is my mate so I will be looking after her,” I say looking at him making sure he understands the severity of the situation. “She looks malnourished and dirty, I have not seen any injuries yet, but the patrol guards said they found her unconscious and unresponsive on the floor,” I say as I put her down on a hospital bed. “She was awake when I saw her and has only gone to sleep after struggling in my arms, I think she may be low on energy.”

“I see, has she told you her name or age?” He says staring at her.

“No she hasn’t, I don’t think she’s spoken at all,” I say thinking back to see if I missed anything. “That is okay,” he says soothingly “She must be scared and confused, this is a new place for her with new people. I will start doing my church up with the help of my nurses and healers. I will let you know when she wakes up or when I’ve finished the check up.”

“No! I’m staying here with my mate, I’m not leaving her I just found her!” I say loudly.

“ Young Alpha, you need to leave for this moment, I know you are enthusiastic about meeting your mate, but your enthusiasm might scare her off or frighten her. The mate pull is trying especially for alphas, but I promise you I will update you on anything and everything.”

“Fine, I will be in my room. Make sure you update me.” From. Procter nods in response. It’s going to be a LONG wait without my mate.
