CHAPTER FIVE: Waking in a strange place

(NARRATOR Pov)

After Hunter had left, the doctor had decided that it would be best for Stella to be put in an induced coma. It wasn’t hard to see that she was malnourished and injuries such as; scraps and bruises that would normally be healed already have not been healed. Not to mention the aura that would surround a werewolf was not there. This was the doctors first human patient.

Stella has stayed in the coma for nearly a week now. Everyday Hunter would come in and speak to the doctor about the condition she is in and how she’s going. After Hunter would leave two nurses would come in and carefully move Stella’s arms and legs so they wouldn’t get stiff. Stella had a tube that would connect directly to her stomach that the staff would feed her through. She was improving day by day.Although it would take a while until she was back to a healthy weight. The doctors declared that she would be taken out of her induced coma, but it would be up to her to wake up.

Until she does the doctors and nurses continue with the same routine they normally do.

(STELLAS’s Pov)

I slowly open my eyes trying to adjust my eyes to the bright lights. When I can properly see I look around to see that I’m laying on a bed in what looks like to be a hospital. How did I manage to get here?

All of a sudden the doors open and a man walks in. He’s looking at some papers. He looks up and sees me, you can see a small amount of panic in his eyes. He presses a button near my bed and footsteps are heard to be coming closer. And another older looking man walks in with a wide grin. “Ahhh your awake, my name is Dr. Procter. What is your name?” He asked, I looked at him not responding. Honestly my mind was blank and hazy I remembered running through the forest, but everything gets blurry from there.

“It’s okay if your feeling a bit lost, you’ve been in a coma for a couple of weeks, recovering from injuries.” He said looking at the papers that the man who pressed the button handed him.

“How did I get here?” I croaked out, my throat was a bit sore.

“I brought you here...”
