CHAPTER TWO: The mysterious stranger

429 Words
(NARRATOR’s POV) Stella runs straight into a thick tree and lies limp on the floor. The morning breeze starts to help cool down her body, and her lungs are under less pressure as her breathing evens out. She has found herself in a new pack territory, which isn’t a good situation for her. If you didn’t know wolves are very territorial and fight over their land. You must always ask for permission to come onto another packs land, if you don’t there is always a punishment. All packs are different and so is the punishment. Stella lays unconscious unknowingly putting herself in a heap of danger. Patrol guards close by hear the great thud Stella has made as they pick up her sent and start to track her down. They know she is not apart of the pack just by her smell. They find a girl laying down in faded old clothes barley fitting her properly. They mind link the Alpha about the situation at hand, and he starts to come immediately with his little group of higher ranking wolves. Including his beta and gamma, a healer and 2 worrier wolves. Closely secretly followed by his Luna. (STELLA’s POV) I hear noises beside me like muffled voices they all sound different, but none familiar to me. I don’t seem to be able to move or open my eyes. Oh my! But they seem to be able to move me. I am picked up by someone they are big I can tell. Their breathing seems to be even and not erratic or angry which could be a good sign. The voices have stopped now as they carry me silently to an unknown place. “We will take her inside and put her into the medical wing,” I hear a feminine voice say. “What if she’s dangerous!” A more masculine voice spits out like venom. “Look at her she is not going to be of any harm, but to be cautious we will hand cuff her to her bed,” she says ending the conversation with the man giving a satisfied hum. After the conversation they continued the silent walk until a loud growl rips through the air all my senses snap at once. I am able to move and open my eyes. The man scarred by the sudden noise drops me to the floor as I look up to see the biggest wolf I’ve ever seen. I’m shaking to my core and start to crawl backwards to create distance between me and the pitch black wolf.
