Chapter Forty-OneJay was monitoring the Earth. Nothing changed. If the outlanders were going to do something, anything, they hadn't shown any signs. Even the beasts were on the quiet side. All in all, it was a good day on planet Earth and here on Oriab station. It was just how Jay liked it, too. So, while he had nothing to do he decided to contact Jack.
“Calling Cerberus Station, you there, Jack?” Jay asked into the communicator. “I'm here,' Jack replied. “Don't sound so cheerful, so how is the training coming along?” Jay asked. Then, silence. “Jack?” Jay asked again.
