Chapter NineteenJay sighed as he finished putting in the commands to start recharging Valzin. “It's like I just turned it off yesterday,” Jay said as he stepped away from the console. “Not yesterday. Five years, six months and twenty-eight days ago,” Thon corrected him and Jay shook his head. “I didn't ask for a count,” he replied. “Is the communication room still in working order?” Jay asked. “Everything is in working order. Do you think I'd let this place fall apart?” Thon asked him in response.
“No, sorry I asked. I have a feeling that all of this can be avoided. I'm going to try and talk to Saran station and see if I can get them to not kill everyone down there,” he said and there was no response. “Well, what do you think, can I get them to see a better way or not?” he asked.
