“No, that’s all. Oh, I just wanted to say thank you again for letting me put up my poster a while ago.”
“No problem at all. I’m glad it worked out. Enjoy your drink.” She sways back to the bar where other customers are waiting for her.
I take a sip from my hot drink, humming as the rich chocolate hits my tongue. “Hmm. Delicious.”
The service and drinks are always great here, so it’s no surprise that I’m back. It’s a little calm for a Wednesday afternoon, but enjoyable calm. There are still people coming in and out, introducing a nice flow of come and go.
