Dylan’s POV   After Ally hung up on me, my heart skipped a beat. If not multiple beats.  That was it. She left.  I don’t know for how long I continued to pace around, but I was brought out of the little bobble I was in when my phone suddenly rang.  I instantly recognized the number.  “Ally?” I half yelled through the phone.  “Thank god!”  “Dylan?” my mom’s voice spoke.  “M-mom?” I asked in disbelief. I felt slightly disappointed when I didn’t hear Ally’s voice and that made me feel bad. Of course, I was happy that my mom was free, but the emptiness that suddenly appeared in my chest was almost unbearable.  It was silent for a few seconds before I decided to ask what I already knew.  “She went with him, didn’t she?” I barely whispered. “Yes, she did,” she said with a strained vo
