Ally’s POV
I didn’t even know what to say to him. He just kept looking at me like he wanted to say something. When he didn’t, I turned back around and walked towards the stairs. I could sense his presence as he followed me down the stairs and towards his father’s office.
“Where are your parents?” I asked as I realized it was empty.
“Out somewhere,” was all he said.
I nodded and walked past him, towards the front door.
“Is that it?” he yelled at me when we were a few meters apart.
“No. Please thank your parents for me, for taking such good care of me the past week, and apologize for me leaving when they aren’t home,” I paused before continuing. “And thank you for saving me.”
