Ally’s POV
“Stay on the phone Ally! Do you hear me?”
“Yes,” I panted slightly out of breath.
The black car once again caught up to us, making Carlos take a sharp turn to the right.
We ended up on a small road in the middle of nowhere with no other cars in sight.
“Shouldn’t we drive towards population and not away from it?” I asked, my voice cracking in the end.
“No, we need to get as far away from people as possible,” Jules said as she turned around to look for the black car.
“This will not end in a calm way.”
She barely had time to finish her sentence before bullets were shot at the windows.
I ducked and put my hands over my head praying silently that this would end.
