Stephan arrived at the Swan family’s residence, and more than that, he was immediately stopped by two security guards who were there. They were looking at Stephan with questioning faces, of course.
“What are you doing here, Beggar?” asked one of the security guards there. “Didn’t our Master throw you out at his birthday party yesterday? So how can you come again without any self-consciousness?”
Stephan never thought that there would be a security guard who had a sharp mouth like the Swan family’s security guard, or maybe a sharp mouth was something they were all used to?
“Sorry, I want to see Mr. Swan, there is something important I want to tell him.”
“And sorry, you couldn’t meet our Master. Even meeting a dog in this house is inappropriate for you.”
Stephan began to feel irritated by the insulting remarks from the two security guards, he tried to break in, causing the three of them to argue quite loudly.
Bella, who heard the commotion, immediately ran as hard as she could to get out, and when she found out that Stephan was the one outside, she immediately hugged Stephan’s body tightly.
“Stephan, I had no idea it was you.” Bella spoke so softly, and Stephan could only swallow his saliva with difficulty.
“Bella, stop doing those disgusting acts and come back into your room!” snapped Luis, who was already there.
Stephan could see several expensive sedans parked in the front yard of the Swan family’s house and of course this showed that the Swan family was having guests.
“Help me, Stephan. Please take me away from here. Luis has been so presumptuous as to call several men to marry me and I was forced by him to marry one of those men.”
Stephan became very annoyed with the Swan family who seemed so very presumptuous, they even asked Stephan for a challenge and Stephan agreed. So how could they suddenly call another man to come to the house to marry Bella? A very reckless action, indeed.
“Are you a shameless family?” said Stephan irritably. “Didn’t you just say that you gave me a challenge to get three wishes and I agreed to all of them. So, how can it be that I haven’t come to you to provide proof but you are already presumptuously looking for another man to marry Bella, this is a big insult, Luis!”
“What did you say? Insult? It’s even a big insult when our family has to believe your nonsensical boasts. Full of confidence, you told the extended Swan family that you agree to everything. Who are you anyway, huh? Are you just a poor, shameless rat, or do you wish you had a genie in a jug who could grant your wish suddenly? Don’t dream!”
“Come on, let’s go inside, I will prove to all of you that I am able to fulfill all the conditions put forward by Mr. Swan to marry Bella!”
“Hahaha, what joke is this again, huh?” However, Luis immediately fell silent, how interesting would it be if he brought Stephan in to make a joke in front of lots of people? Embarrassing Stephan once again and explaining to Stephan who he was so that the man became aware of himself seemed like what Luis should do. “Okay, then please come in. I’ll give you one last chance to meet Uncle, and I hope you don’t embarrass Bella in front of so many people.” Luis answered with a sly grin, until then Stephan and Bella looked at each other and then they both entered the house.
“Is it true that you have got the answer to Father’s challenge, Stephan?” Bella whispered. Stephan nodded. “How could that be? Isn’t Dad’s request completely impossible?” Bella continued, as if she didn’t believe Stephan’s words. As much as she loved Stephan, she also had to be realistic about who Stephan was, right?
“Calm down, let’s just say that God loves me so much that God will give me a miracle blessing.”
After saying that, the two entered the house. And the atmosphere in the house was quite busy, but they immediately stopped talking and then everyone looked at Stephan with strange looks.
“Hey, Luis. Where did you get this beggar from? Why did you bring this beggar here? What a shame! Get rid of him!” snapped one of the young men who was wearing an expensive suit. Judging from his appearance, it seemed that the young man was the future husband who was betrothed to Bella.
Stephan took a deep breath, he tried to calm down and ignore everything. Then he looked at Mr. Swan with a sharp gaze.
“Mr Swan, what have you done? Didn’t you previously give me three conditions so that I could marry Bella, and didn’t I also tell you that I agreed to these conditions? So how can you suddenly bring another man to marry Bella? This is an insult.”
“So, are you worthy enough for me to trust, Stephan? Look at you, you are a part-time worker in a restaurant, you live in a slum district with a rent that is even as big as my dog’s bathroom, more than that, how could you poor person be able to fulfill all the conditions I put forward yesterday? Impossible! Even if the earth is destroyed, you will not be able to do it.”
“What if I could?”
Mr. Swan, and even Luis and the others immediately laughed at Stephan perfectly. Meanwhile Bella couldn’t do anything about this. Bella hoped that Stephan will stop fighting her father and then begged him desperately for the two of them to get married.
“Don’t talk nonsense, Stephan. Come on, stop dreaming because it’s already afternoon.” Mr. Swan is still sneering at Stephan.
“I’m not talking nonsense, nor am I dreaming, let alone joking, Mr. Swan. Of course I still really remember what you said, I have to have a balance in my account of five hundred million dollars, I have to have at least one company and within five years that company has to be a successful company, and lastly I have to buy Bella a yacht as a dowry, right?”
Mr. Swan looked at Stephan with an annoyed expression this time, and of course that made Stephan feel like he had won a lot.
Stephan immediately threw the bank statement on the table so that not only Mr. Swan, but Luis and all the guests there saw it carefully.
“Take a good look, Mr. Swan. Even if necessary, put on your glasses first. I will fulfill all your conditions without even waiting five years. I have an unlimited amount of balance in my account, and I can buy any company I want and lastly, let alone just one yacht, I will even buy five yachts for Bella or if necessary for you too. So, am I still not worthy to be the son-in-law of this house?” Stephan explained with great satisfaction and he could even see how the expressions on the faces of Mr. Swan, Luis and everyone there looked so tense. Yes, Stephan managed to embarrass them all.
