PREGNANT?

"Have you both suddenly gone dumb?" Victoria yelled they were in deep trouble today. They just stared at her, completely speechless.

"Am I talking to myself? You f*****g bitches," they knew Victoria heard what Lily had said.

"Uhmmmm..we were dancing over a dream Lily had last night," Zoe said, Victoria walked past Zoe to Lily whose head had been down.

She let out a wicked chuckle.

"You had better keep those unfruitful dreams to yourselves if not I would frustrate your life in this pack," Victoria pulled Lily's hair down and made her look up.

Lily was shaking in fear, tears were already forming at the back of her eyelids.

"Do you understand me, dummy?" Victoria's grip on her hair got tighter and she whimpered in pain.

"Answer me when I ask a question,"

"Stop that, you are hurting her." Zoe kicked Victoria who winced in pain.

She was the brave one and always stood up for Lily when she got bullied by the other servants. Even though Victoria was wealthy, she wasn't scared of her.

"What the hell? You this little ant, you have the guts to kick me?" Victoria said facing Zoe who had a disgusting look in her eyes.

"If you are sure of your so-called boyfriend then you shouldn't be scared of anything you hear common maids like us say," Lily who had been quiet all along was already scared of what Zoe had been saying to Victoria, they would surely get into trouble today.

Victoria got angry at what Zoe just said, she was getting angrier and they could hear her growl. Her eyes burned in anger as she walked slowly to meet Zoe, 'this didn't look nice.' Lily thought to herself.

"You low-life b***h, you dare speak to me in such a manner?"

"Yes, the moon goddess can't make someone as arrogant as you are our Luna."

This was the height of it, Lily knew she had to intervene or else Jane would hear the noise they were making and that was double trouble.

"Please we are so sorry, don't listen to us." Lily grabbed Zoe by her hand and ran away before Victoria could say a word.

"What were you thinking?" Lily asked when they finally got to their room, they were both out of breath and had to stop running. It was almost noon and they hadn't even carried out Jane's order.

"We need to put some people in their place, why are you even scared of Victoria? Just because her parents are wealthy doesn't mean she could treat others like trash, and we all know the Alpha doesn't like her." Zoe was right, she always noticed how Greg looked at Victoria with disdain, there were rumors that Greg's parents and Victoria's parents were forcing the both of them to get married.

"Let's go, I'm sorry for putting you into trouble," Lily blinked her eyes multiple times and pouted, it made her look like a small baby.

"It's fine. It's almost noon, let's go to the Alpha's quarters before Jane finds us."

They were at the Alpha's quarters but they heard voices coming from the Alpha's room, it seemed Victoria was in there.

Lily became confused. Had she gone to confront Greg about her? She didn't know what to expect and now they had to arrange the central area for the announcement tomorrow.

Alpha Greg's second in command was standing by the passage leading to the Alpha's room, Beta Liam had this confusion in his eyes, something was wrong.

"What are you two looking for here?" He was a very rude wolf and nobody liked him.

Zoe rolled her eyes at him, Lily signaled her best friend to stay calm because she knew Zoe was about to say something nasty.

"The former Luna sent us to meet Alpha Greg, do you have a problem with that?" Zoe asked as she gave him a disgusting look.

"The Alpha is busy," Liam blurted.

"Okay, Lily let's go and tell Jane that Liam refused to let us see the Alpha because his girlfriend was with him." Zoe dragged Lily's hands and made her way to leave when Liam asked us to stop.

"What are you trying to do? Do you want to put me into trouble?" Liam's eyes were filled with anger, he knew he'd be in trouble if they did that.

"So, what should we do?" Zoe asked in sarcasm.

"Just wait here, I'll let him know you rats are here." He said arrogantly and walked to the door.

Lily looked at Zoe and gave her a "you this b***h" look. Zoe let out a chuckle and felt pleased with herself.

The voices from the Alpha's room had increased, the Alpha was in a heated argument with Victoria.

"So, what should I do now?" Greg yelled.

"You son of a b***h, you got me pregnant and you are acting like a child now," Victoria shouted, it was as if she was using all her energy to talk. Her voice was so loud.

"You take responsibility for the pregnancy before my father finds out, you know he won't take it likely with you. Forget you are the Alpha," Victoria commanded.

Pregnancy? Lily was startled. How could Victoria be pregnant for her mate? She couldn't believe her ears, a wave of anger and disappointment rose within her. Zoe also had a confused face and gave Lily a "what is going on" look.

"I'm not ready to get married, besides, I have to figure out if we are truly meant for each other." Greg was speaking.

"Truly meant for each other? You didn't think about that before you f**ked me. What about the agreement your father had with my.."

"Enough! Enough!" Greg shut her up.

Liam finally knocked on the door, he had been standing there not knowing what to do since.

"Who is that?" Greg growled at the knock on his door, he sounded really angry.

"It's me, your…" Liam couldn't complete his sentence when Greg pulled the door open.

"I told you not to interrupt me," Greg was visibly angry. Lily had never heard such anger in his voice.

"Sorry Alpha, your mother sent those two rats to you," Liam said pointing to Lily and Zoe who had been standing at the passage.

Greg looked towards their direction and when his eyes met with Lily's, his wolf couldn't stop jumping in excitement.

Lily was lost in his eyes, this feeling was divine. She loved the way he made her feel and her wolf was finally happy. The realization that Victoria was pregnant hit her and sadness crept into her heart, Greg saw the look in her eyes and realized Lily must have found out already.

"Yes, what did my mother say?" Greg called out.

Lily wasn't even in the right frame of mind to speak so she let Zoe do the talking.

"She said you should give us directives on tomorrow's announcement."

"Which announcement?" Greg and Liam gave themselves a confused look, it was obvious they were not aware of any announcement…

Greg turned to Victoria who was grinning from ear to ear, she gave Lily and Zoe a wicked look as she smiled like the devil she was. Zoe couldn't stand her.

"Oh s**t!" Greg said as he punched the wall.

"Liam, let's go. It's about the wedding," Greg pulled Liam and they walked out of the quarters.
