"Lily! Lily!" Greg and Liam had been searching for Lily for hours, and Zoe had told him that Lily had run away. She was going to run away from the pack and become a rogue, she couldn't face the rejection and embarrassment Greg had put her through.

"Let's go back to the pack, I promise to protect you as long as I live." Greg pulled her to her feet, he loved Lily so much that the rejection couldn't even make them go apart. They still felt connected.

"What about Victoria? She'll kill me." Lily asked as she looked into his eyes.

"Leave me to worry about her,"

They walked back to the pack and Greg took her to his room.

"Stay with me for the night, Lily." Greg pulled her to sit on his lap.

"I make the rules here so don't worry…and call me Greg."

"Where we are going, we are not yet done." Zoe asked as she watched Lily walking briskly as if something was wrong, Zoe knew something was up because she had been acting strangely after Greg stopped her from running away two weeks ago."

Her best friend looked pale and hadn't been eating, she knew Lily still felt hurt from what Greg did to her.

It was clear Lily didn't want her to come with her, Zoe wondered where she was off to in such haste.

Lily had her mind made up, there was no way she was going to keep this as a secret for too long. She needed to tell Greg before it was too late.

"I'm here to see the Alpha," Lily told the huge guard in charge of the Alpha's quarters.

"What for?" He asked, "He's not around." He lied.

"Just tell him it's Lily, I don't have the strength for this." She felt so weak that she couldn't stand properly.

The guard sighed, he felt it was urgent and went to inform the Alpha.

"You can go in," he said as his eyes roamed her body from her head to her toe.

Lily entered to meet an empty room, but she was met with water sounds from the bathroom.

"Who's there?" Greg called out.

Greg came out, he tied a white towel across his waist, Lily couldn't help but stare as the hair on his chest stood and Lily remembered the previous night they had s*x.

"I just came to tell you, do what you like," Lily said and stormed out of his house.

She felt cheated and foolish, why did she agree to sleep with Greg the other night? The same night he rejected her.

Lily didn't plan on telling her best friend, there was no need. She would just get rid of the pregnancy, there was no way she was going to keep this child.

"Lily, Victoria called for you. She's in her room." The guard in charge of the Alpha's quarters told her.

Victoria was now living close to the Alpha's quarters, Lily was worried as to why Victoria needed her. She felt nauseous and didn't have the strength to exchange words with her right now.

"Okay," Lily replied.

When Lily arrived at Victoria's house, she met Zoe who was seated there already.

"What are you doing here?" Lily whispered and sat close to her.

"I don't know, she called for me. We've been waiting for you," Zoe whispered back. They both had a surprise look on their face.

It wasn't a good thing to be called by Victoria because everyone knew she breathed trouble.

"You are finally here, Lily," Victoria said as she came out of her bedroom to meet them in the sitting room.

"Please join me in the dining room, " she called out to both of them.

They gave themselves a confused look, what's all this drama for? The same Victoria they knew?

"Okay," Lily and Zoe said in unison as they joined her at the dining table.

There were varieties of food on the table, Lily wondered what they were celebrating and why it was just the two of them she called.

"Before we start, I'd like to apologize to you girls for all the trouble I've put you in. I'm sorry and I hope you both can forgive me." Victoria said with sincerity in her eyes.

"It's fine, we all make mistakes," Zoe said while Lily just stared in confusion, something was not right but she couldn't place her hands on it.

"Let's eat. I hope you are fine Lily. You've been quiet." Victoria asked as she dished her food.

"I'm good, I just have a slight headache," Lily replied, and started dishing food to her plate. Zoe had already started eating, she never wasted time when it came to food.

The three of them were silent and Lily felt so awkward.

"The food is nice, thanks for inviting us, future Luna." Zoe beamed with a smile as she praised Victoria.

Lily was startled, when did Zoe become a fan of Victoria. She was still thinking when she felt a sharp pain in her stomach.

"Ahh!" Lily dropped her cutlery and tightened her stomach, the pain she felt in her stomach was bad.

"Zoe, help me, I'm dying." Lily was already foaming from her mouth.

"Next time you'll learn to stay away from my man," Victoria said and shook hands with Zoe.

"So, you were pregnant and you kept it away from me. You think I didn't know you've been hiding so many things from me lately?" Zoe folded her hands and circled Lily as she battled for breath.

Lily was shocked her best friend was part of Victoria's plan; to kill her.

"Zo..e," Lily called out as she took her last breath and slumped on the floor.
