I went back to my room and immediately went for my laptop. I went straight to the criminal database and searched for Ivan’s parents. Their profiles showed up and they all read deceased, looking through their next of kin column, I found nothing. Scrolling farther down the list I found Ivan’s profile which read “ MISSING – PRESUMED DEAD”. That checked out his story and also how he was able to live under the radar without the authorities coming after him, how he managed to survive alone all this time is still beyond me. I keyed in the names of his former crew and three of them were incarcerated, one was deceased and the other was wanted for murder. Is this how Ivan’s life would have turned out had he not left?
