We left the pub later than we had all imagined. When I got the call from Donna, I was sure she was out for my neck, her niece had died on my behest after all. She cleared the air and I could literally feel the blood flow back in my veins. We had managed to come up with a plan in the 5 hours that we were holed up in the bar. I kept wondering where the other patrons, heck, the owner of the pub was but there seemed to be better things to worry about since no one was asking the questions. I was mostly amazed at how everyone was just in their element, not faltering, no second guessing. I thought to myself, ‘this is your life Ivan, your future with Preston’. It wasn't like I was a saint or anything, I could hack into just about any security system, but I chose to be ethical, and look where it go
