The rude wailing of her alarm woke Jade from her dreamless sleep. She always loved the blank nights as she called them. Literally rolling off the bed to her study desk where the alarm was entering its second stage of annoyance, she reached for the phone while still lying on the floor and since it was at the edge of the table, pain was all she knew when it directly hit her on the face. “owwww, what the heck, my phone wants to kill me”, she cried in annoyance as the alarm had now reached its full annoying form. With a sigh, she sat up and thought of ways to kill her phone while also making sure it would still function.
