"shut up stupid clock!" I groaned covering myself with my turquoise covers.

Ding. Ding. Ding. Ding

I moved to the side groggily and slammed my hand on the clock "Finally." I said falling back on my bed I closed my eyes to sleep sadly all my hopes of sleeping were crushed by my brother jumping on my bed "AHHH" I yelled as he laughed. "Nathan STOPP!" I shrieked.

"No can do little sis," he said. I went to push him off the bed but instead I ended up falling off the bed and landing on my butt "stupid brother" I mumbled "I heard that hurry up and get ready for school your gonna be late" he said as he left my room leaving me extremely annoyed that was no other that my 22 year old brother he is one of the most annoying and over protective people I have ever met but non the less I loved him we have a close relationship last year he was in some problems with bullying actually in his college he had depression problems in highschool as a junior his girlfriend had died in a car accident and they had been really serious. When he entered college he was 20 he had his moods, the bully's called him a freak, weirdo, depressed boy, etc. Really that is a horrible reason to bully somebody, he dropped out when he was 21 because he couldn't take it good news he is extremely better. You could see the sparkle of happiness back in his eyes all of this was because of a girl named Dana he started seeing 2 months ago. And can I say I have never felt so happy for him smiling at the thought of how happy he is I got up and walked to my closet I opened it and grabbed the first thing I saw a gray loose t-shirt with the American flag on it and a pair of jeans, I put on my shoes and went to brush my teeth and wash my face I brushed my hair not putting on makeup because I never do for school. "Hurry up your going to be late" I heard Nathan call "coming" I yelled back as I picked up my light blue back pack tossed it over my shoulder grabbed my phone and car keys and ran downstairs. "im here" I said victoriously with a grin on my face "Okay remember don't get into any trouble be careful with boys no drugs your a senior now anything could happen" my over protective told me for like the hundredth time "yeah yeah no drugs stay away from boys study yadda yadda I get it" I said with an annoyed face he smiled and said "great now go" I waved at him and headed towards my white BMW M3 E46 it had cost me a good amount of money with the money that I could save up thanks to my babysitting job I could get it I wanted a convertible but those were just dreams. Finally I got to schools parking lot and parked my car in my usual spot luckily the bell hadn't rung yet I opened the door got my stuff and sit the door locking it I was about to start walking but my phone buzzed telling me I had a message I turned on my phone and the message flashed brightly on the screen.

Panic flooded inside me Immediately I sprinted to the school I had textbooks for the first two periods so I went directly to my class which I had with Amanda my bestfriend, when I got there I slammed the door open, catching everyone's attention. Luckily Mr. Andrews wasn't there yet. "what happened?" I asked a little out of breath when my gaze met my best friend and I got to her. " I can't find my hairbrush" she shrieked. I just sighed, this always happened she isn't the most organized person also she loves her hair and likes to wear makeup girly, though don't get me wrong she is really far away from being a bad person she hasn't had many relationships though she already had her first kiss, me too it was a waste but that's a story for a different time anyway the deal right now is that she gets really freaked out when she loses stuff like that I mean its a hairbrush. "Locker," I said. She always leaves her stuff, there she looked confused at first but then understood and then with a sigh she said "right" I chuckled and plopped down in my seat which was right next to her "Oh Em, there is going to be this awesome new seniors party this Friday at 8:00 PM. We totally have to go" Amy gushed. "That sounds great and all..... Well for you, but I think I prefer to just watch Netflix. you know, I just started watching season 2 of Teen Wolf" I said truthfully. "NO. NO. NO" she said sternly shaking her head "you are going to that party even if I have to drag you there," she said. I groaned at my best friends usual stubbornness. This was gonna be a long weekend.

"Hurry up slow pokes" Max, my other best friend called out to me and Amy. "Yeah yeah, we're coming," I replied walking to our usual table in the cafeteria. When we got there Daniel my other and last best friend spoke up "A little birdie told me that you dear Emma are going to a wild Senior party" He said with a smirk. "First of all it won't be wild, I think," Amanda said " Second yes but not willingly," I said looking at her "Well if it makes you feel any better we are coming too," Max said smiling. I smiled a bit but I couldn't help but not like the idea of a party if you haven't noticed I wear simple clothes, live in a small house and almost never go out except with my besties, so me and party doesn't sound so good together " hey did you hear that that this new movie is coming out-" Max started. I zoned out not really interested in their conversation so I looked around the cafeteria we weren't all divided into categories at all except the populars, in the middle of the cafeteria were the jocks and cheerleaders. Most of the girls were really annoying and selfish but some of them are really nice, the boys were 'The golden boys' the football team players. I looked at all of them and my attention caught none other than the bad boy/player of the group Jake Winston really he was a jerk. I don't know him so much but with the rumors and our encounters, I know that he is a real jerk. I would keep on the list but Amy brought me back to earth "got the hots for Jake I see" She said as her eyes followed mines I turned red with embarrassment "What" I said putting a straight face again. "you were staring dummy" she said wiggling her eyebrows. " more like glaring" I scoffed. " Anyway, about the party which we are still going to," she said making me groan in annoyance " we have to get dresses, well for you actually so today is Monday the party is on Friday and I have Wednesday free, we can go to the mall then" she finished. I knew that there was no point in me arguing so I just nodded my head and went back to picking at my french fries.

After what seemed like eternity I finally got to comfort of my home, I walked into the house and said out loud "Hey Ma I'm home," not waiting for a response I I went to the kitchen I grabbed an apple I didn't have any homework so I just headed upstairs to my room I sat on my bed picking up my laptop from my night desk and putting it on my lap. After I entered Netflix and put on Teen Wolf on, I put the computer in front of me and stretched my legs so I was laying on my stomach staring at the screen. In the middle of the episode, I heard a knock on my door (much to my irritation). "Door's open," I said sighing while I tied my hair into a bun so I could see better. "Emma?" My mom said opening the door, "What's up?" I asked she took a step in then said " Look you know you don't have to do this, really I wish you didn't even think that you had to" she started immediately I know what she's talking about, my babysitting job in little detail, I got it 2 years ago this was because my family had a few economic problems so I decided to get a job, now we have more money also because my mom has 2 jobs. Still, she doesn't approve of me working since she feels guilty so whenever work calls me she gets all sad. "Mom I want to do this okay?" I asked softly she nodded then took a deep breath. "Fine, okay so your boss called me and said if you want a bigger raise you can go work in this house but you have to be there when they need you," she said trying to sound like her chirpy self but I could still hear a bit of sadness behind her voice. Apart from that, a raise got me pretty curious Mr. Vert (my boss) never even told me about it so this meant these people were loaded since he would get part of the money I got. "Wow Mr.Vert giving me a raise is unusual these people must either be loaded or very important," I said voicing my thoughts. "Well I'm in, when do I have to go?" I asked. "Okay if you really want to go I suggest you hurry up cause you have to be at their house at 5:30 which is in 25 minutes," she said back to her chirpy self. I groaned and then got up and went straight to the bathroom "Bye kiddo" My mom called as I shut the door to the bathroom I took a super short bath put on some new clothes and let my hair loose, with that I ran downstairs and headed to work.

Surprisingly the address my mom told me before leaving just took me 5 minutes to get there, I looked out the window and saw such a big house I thought it was a mansion there was a small path with flowers leading to glass double doors in the middle of the huge modern house. I felt extremely overwhelmed but after a full minute of gaping at the house I got out of the car and dragged myself to the door hesitantly I knocked on the door "Hello" I said. After a pause, nobody answered so I asked: "Anybody home?" Again no answer. I put my fist up to knock again but my hand was left midair when a tall figure opened the door for a moment I just stood there, in front of me was a tall boy probably my age brown hair cute nose strong jaw and looked more than fit. I had to admit he was good looking he looked so familiar but I couldn't place him it felt like it was at the tip of my tongue "Are you just going to stay here gaping at me or are you gonna tell me why your here" he asked cockily leaning against the doorframe smirking. My face went to confusion to surprise and then annoyed because in front of me was none other than the popular, player, jackass Jake Winston.
