JON With the Street Wizard out of the public eye for so many months, people no longer cornered Jon in public places to ask him for the demon magician’s autograph. To encourage forgetting, Jon was growing his hair longer. Having the magic stigma gone was a tremendous relief, but he still took no chances. He waited in his Mustang in the parking lot of his former high school until all the buses and most of the students had cleared out.
