Lyra POV   My mom gave me new credit card. She wants me to buy new clothes since school is near to start and University will embrace me next two days.   I gather my things to put them in my small backpack. The house will be empty this day. My parents were already in their work, and Levi was nowhere to be found.   That truth is, I felt sad when I woke up this morning without them around me. All of them leaved the house not telling me or just wake me up. They just leave a note in the kitchen table with my breakfast.   Frowning, I get my father’s car key and exited the house.   My father allowed me to borrow his car. The cool breeze hits my skin while my leather jacket flies a little because of the wind. The white long sleeve shirt that I’m wearing today tucked inside my black jeans, with my black and white converse to match my outfit.   Mom’s right, I need to buy new clothes and dresses. I haven’t wear dresses these days since they already gave to the asylum to the children who needed more clothes to wear.   Starting the engine, I drive towards the mall to start my day.   After 15 minutes, I parked the car in the parking lot, beside the red and black car as I unbuckle my seat belt. Exiting the car, I make my way to the entrance but my phone rings.   “What?”   “Hello to you too, big sis.” I rolled my eyes hearing my brother’s annoying voice.   “What do you want?” I asked, making him groan.   “Why don’t you just greet your little brother in a proper way when he called you? This situation makes me want to sulk.” I frowned, but I heard him cleared his throat.   “By the way, can you buy me a pizza when you get home? To the new pizza store besides the fast food restaurant inside the mall.”     Seriously?       Wow! What a good brother he was. He actually ordering me to buy him HIS pizza while he leaved me earlier without a word?   Great. Just great.   Taking a deep sigh, being the greatest big sister to the world, I said yes to him.   I loved my little brother so much so buying him one pizza won’t sinker to my pocket and especially to me.   Shrugging my shoulder, I put my phone in my backpack before heading towards the dress shop where I could buy.   Opening the door, a 25 years old woman greeted me, wearing a dark blue formal attire matching her 2 inches black sandal.   “Hello, ma’am. Welcome to Evergreen shop where beautiful dresses you want are here!” She cheerfully said and smiled at me.   Smiling back at her, I walked towards the glass wall where the beautiful expensive dresses are hanging inside of it. “Which dress would you like to try?” She asked trailing behind me.   “I don’t know, but I want to find a dress that could fit my skin color.” I said, motioning her my skin and she claps her hands making me jump in surprise.   “Oh my! Don’t worry, my dear. Just leave it to me.” She winked and pull me towards the other section.       This will be going a long day.   * * *   “Hey.” A brunette girl said, smiling towards me holding her food.   “Hi.”   “Can I sit with you?” She asked and I automatically nod my head.   She doesn’t look like a bad person and maybe this will be my opportunity to have a friend.   “Sure.” She sits opposite of mine and placed her food in the table making me feel comfortable now since someone is accompanying me to the crowded place.   I’m in a fast food restaurant to eat my lunch. I already finished buying my clothes and all I need to do is to buy Levi a pizza in Macho Pizza House, beside this restaurant. He called me a while ago reminding me to his pizza. Like I will forget that.   “I’m Lauren Sy, I lived in your streets.” She introduced herself and my eyes widened in surprise.     SHE LIVES IN MY STREET AND HOW DID SHE KNOW THAT I’M LIVING THERE?   “Really? How I haven’t seen you before?” I made my body closed to the table, staring at her.   A chuckle escaped to her mouth and shrugged, “Maybe you’re just busy and I’m shy to come close to you even if I saw you many times running around your house because of that brown haired guy.” She grins and I laugh.   That was Levi.   “So you decided to come close to me this time because I don’t have a person in my side?”   “Honestly yes, and in the same time no. Yes, because I want to talk to you and no since this is the only vacant seat in the restaurant.” She said and eat her lunch.   “But what a great timing, right?” she wiggled her brows and put the fries on her mouth with a red ketchup on it.   “Why today?!” I groaned making her gaze landed on me in shocked.       “Huh?”     “Why today, do you know how much I want someone to come close to me to be her/his best friend?” I pouted.   “Ooooh…I didn’t know that you want me to be your best friend,” She grins but I rolled my eyes, “And I don’t actually know that you’re accepting me that easily as your friend.”   “Of course. But well, I need to know if you want me too as your friend.” I said with a worried tone.   She rubs her chin by her index finger and thumb, she gives me a cheeky grin and nodded her head, “Of course! I want to add another one so that we could be Powerpuff girls!” She exclaimed and I laugh.   Powerpuff girls huh?   Now that I have a friend, I am so happy that I already got someone to accompany me.   To be honest, I don’t have friends before. They just knew me as a loner popular sister of Levi Summers back in my old school. Some girls wanted me to be their friends but I refuse since they just want to get close to my brother.   “So where’s your best friend?”   “You’ll meet her, THEM soon since we are going to enter in the same University!” She said happily and I give her a questioning look because how the hell she knew where should I-   “You’re a famous daughter of Chloe Summers and Michel Summers who always with the Pri- I mean with the Woods family. Both of your family and the Woods were so closed before until now. The two popular singer and dancer stayed to be friends until now and married the two popular bad boys in the town. So cool, right?” She ate her food and my mind was floating. Popular singer and dance? Popular bad boys? Why I haven’t knew about that?   My mother should explain something for me later, she didn’t tell me that she grew up here before also with my father and I didn’t know also that she has been friend with Rowena and Colton.   “How did you know that?” I asked and make her move uncomfortable in her sit.   “I…my parents knew them so much. They adore them especially their relationships.” She nodded her head didn’t dare to look in my eyes.     Okay?     “Oh.”     “By the way, I need to go. I need to do something and I also need to prepare my things for school. I guess I’ll see you in Monday?”  I nodded my head.   She stands up on her chair and walk towards my side to hug me, “I’ll see you then.” She winks before leaving me in the table.   I smiled, before finishing my food to buy Levi a pizza. But before that, I need to place my things in the car yet I saw an old man dragging by the three guys who wears a black suit. I see the old man trying to escape from their hold but he can’t.   Looking to the people around me, they just looked at them and never tried to help the old poor man.   Running outside the fast food restaurant when they start dragging him outside, my feet keep dragging me to help the old man. But soon as I exit the restaurant, they already GONE.       WHERE ARE THEY?     A loud grunt from the dark side of the restaurant echoed from my position and I walked faster dragging my feet to that place. I almost gasp loudly when they start kicking the old man. I wanted to help, but how?     The old man crawling on the ground, trying to escape but the three mysterious guys kicking his stomach hard.     POOR MAN. I though.   I look to my right side and I see a hard thick stick, causing an idea to pop inside my mind but before I can get the stick, the guys ran away.   Looking to the direction they’ve ran. I run towards the old man and kneel down on his level.   “Sir! Oh my god! Are you okay?” I stupidly asked because I know he is not okay, and his head snap towards my direction.   “T-THE PROPHETICAL ARE ALREADY BECOMING TRUE. A GIRL WITH A STRONG HEART WILL CHOOSE THE RIGHT MAN BETWEEN THE DARK SOON, AND A WAR WILL DECLARE TO FIGHT FOR THE LOVE. MATE BY MATE, UNTIL SOMEONE WILL WIN AGAINST THE HEART OF THE GIRL.” He whispered.     “Sir?” I don’t understand what was he talking about. Is this man gone crazy?     “ARE YOU GOING TO CHOOSE RIGHT?”
