Chase and I walked silently towards my house with our hands interlaced to each other while me glancing to him in side way.
I was still in shock because of what happened also knowing that Luke is a rouge. But how come? He doesn't do anything to harm me when we first met.
"Maybe you are wondering." He said stopping his track in front of our backyards.
"I am."
Hearing him sigh, he sat in the ground and look up in the sky leaving me standing, towering him in the ground. As for me, I decided to sit next to him but my gaze was still focused on him.
"Lyra...I hope after you hear my words, you won't leave me and see me as a monster." He muttered averting his eyes away from me.
