Nia Renata was 1 of 6 siblings, she spoke 3 languages (English, Thai and French) born in the United States 3 years after her family left the refugee camps in the Philippines where her mother and father fled the killing fields, her father was full blooded Thai and her mother was Cambodian.
Nia had a history of not being able to turn people down although she wasn't interested, she always kept calm and remained nice leading guys to think there is a chance with her even though she knew there was no way in hell.
On her drive back home she couldn't stop thinking about his smile and how he smelled, his deep voice, he was quite the gentleman and how he slowly tried making moves on her, she liked the way he looked, she liked everything about him (she thought)
meanwhile at Tommy's....
he went inside, tipsy and stumbling he opened his bag and pulled out his pill bottle, he put two in his mouth and drank it down with a fresh cold beer from his fridge, he proceeded to turn his ringer back on and saw 18 missed calls along with 26 text messages, he ignored them all took his pants off and his shirt, climbed into his bed and opened his social media page, he went back to Nia's page, scrolled through her post, photos, looked at everyone's page who had the same last name, he looked at every picture she had with other people.
Tommy
"wtf am I doing, what's wrong with me? I've been looking at this girl social life for the last 3 hours, she never even messaged me to tell me she made it home."
he couldn't lay any longer, he got off the bed and paced his home as he got anxious.
Tommy
"wtf is wrong with her? every b***h that I bring around, hang with always comes in or want to come In even when I didn't want them to, is she not interested in me?"
The thought of Nia was making him angry, he didn't understand why she was like that, she flirted but took no initiative, she only flirted back cause he flirted.
Tommy
"why didn't she even get f****d up? that smell I know it, she does coke..she's gotta be doing coke, how does a tiny girl drink that much and it didn't phase her one bit, she was fine walking, talking like f**k she kept herself well"
he was so captivated by her, he wanted her and knew he wasn't going to stop til he got her.
Tommy needed to get her off his mind, he put his clothes back on, got into his car and drove north into the city to see which one of his friends were still up and out, it wasn't unusual for him to run into any of them since they normally sleep all day and come out when the sun goes down.

"you're back soon, what you been up to?"
Tommy
"just got done chillin wit this girl"
Jason
"where she at?"
Tommy
"that's the thing, the b***h went home... she didn't wanna spend the night, didnt call to let me know she made home, didn't do s**t"
Jason
"nah? lemme see what she look like?"
Tommy
"no pics"
The guys headed to the bar, desperately trying to get his mind off Nia he messaged a few girls he'd normally hang out with to meet them at the bar, when the girls arrived they drank a bit and headed back to Tommy's house.
A few days passed and he still had yet to hear from her so Tommy decided to send Nia a text
text messages *
Tommy
"Hey what's up, you ok?"
Nia
"hey, yeah I'm fine what's up?"
Tommy
"I'd like to hang out again whenever you're free"
Nia
"This weekend good for you?"
Tommy
"yeah for sure, call or text to let me know what time"
Nia
"I will"
Nia decided she'd meet up with him again.
3 months has passed and the 2 kept contact, hung out more frequently but Tommy was bothered, Nia rejected all his advances, never kissed him, Tommy was getting impatient, frustrated and at times angry.
Tommy
"are you not attracted to me?"
Nia was caught off guard by his question as they waited for breakfast, she gave him a blank stare.
Tommy
"just let me know?"
Nia
"what's wrong?"
Tommy
"I wanna know if you friend zoned me or what"
Nia
"you like me?"
Tommy
"like? I think I f*****g love you"
Nia felt uncomfortable as she did not know how to respond, she looked at Tommy as he stared at her.
Nia
"why do you love me?"
Tommy
"everytime I see you I get this feeling, you make me happy and the conversations we have"
Nia
"I like you a lot"
Tommy
"so kiss me"
Tommy moved over to her side of the table, Nia was so nervous, she trembled as he hot closer,
he sat right next to her and waited for her to turn her face towards him and she did, he touched her face and moved his closer to hers.
Tommy
"why are you shaking?"
Nia looked up and moved her lips closer, she kissed his lips softly and looked at him, Tommy put his hand behind her head and brought her forward for another kiss only this time he slowly pressed his tongue to part her lips and moved her tongue towards his, his eyes were close but Nia's were wide open, he could feel her heart beating fast.
he stopped and looked at her
Tommy
"are you ok?"
Nia blushed, her face was red.
Tommy
"you're shy"
he gave her a soft smile and kissed her cheek.
Tommy
"will you spend the entire weekend with me please?"
Nia
"are you asking me to sleep over?"
Tommy
"yeah"
Nia
"I don't have any change of clothes"
Tommy
"I'll buy you some"
Nia
"you don't have to"
Tommy
"but I want to, if you tell me you're going home and will be back we both know I won't see you til next week"
he winked at her and Nia knew it was true.
Nia
"okay, I'll stay."
