Chained Fortune

THE MATCH- PART 1

#JAYDEN POV

Today was the match day , and I was still thinking if I wanted to go . I mean even if I go I would be all alone soo . Anyway I'm in the library reading through a few books which I was waiting to read since some other kids had taken it. So while I was reading I heard the Chair opposite me beig moved and some one sit down. Me being the ignorant type , as usual I didn't care , not until I heard a familiar voice whisper ." Jay , hey jay ." Marcus !. I looked up and pointed towards the NO TALKING BOARD .

And he replied " i'm not talking , i'm whispering ." I rolled my eyes and kept reading . I heard him sign and say " I really hope you're coming for my match . I'll be waiting ." And with that he walked out . I know how much he's hurting because of my behavior , i'm too . About the match , I don't know why he wants me to be there , since he's been pleading , I should probably go . Once I was done with school , I went home to change and freshen up before 6pm . After bath I got a call and it was Abi.

" Hey giirlllll , you coming for the match today?"

" Hey yeah I thought of going , wait you're coming too? "

" Yeah Chase kinda asked me to , I didn't promise him anything but , I'm sure he wont expect my presence there , so i'm gonna surprise him ." Okay and i'm sure you guys are gonna be together in the blink of an eye . I giggled at what I just thought .

" Sorry , I just thought something , i'm going too . I will meet you there at 6 then ."

" Wait , I called to say that I was picking you up , please don't say no , I insist this time."

" Ummm...ok " I wanted to hesitate but I just gave in anyway we are going to the same spot so I don't see why not.

" Really ? I thought I would have to kiss you a** to drive you there."

" Eww! "

" Wait I didn't actually mean kiss your a** . Gross Jay!" and we both laughed at that.

As I got ready Abi was on time to pick me up at 5:30pm . Together we drove to the match which was taking place in our school itself . As we reached we caught seats for ourselves and settled . First match was between our school HAWK ridge Vs Crawford . All the players were warming up , in between I noticed Marcus Swiping his eyes through the crowd and when he found me our eyes locked and he slowly stood straight with his eye bulged and mouth slightly open which then turned into a smile saying " You came?" . He was . happy?. And I gave him a smile too . When he saw me with company he signaled Chase to look through the crowd . Boys! I thought to myself . And the same reaction was found on Chase's face in addition he winked at Abi who gave him the middle finger in return . He chuckled . I observed the other two with wrinkled eyebrows . For sure they didn't have an idea of what was happening but they didn't have time to discuss either so , in no time all the players were on the field .

Most of them were built and trust we when I say the game was rough , it was impossibly rough. How could they not be affected by being thrown on the ground. They seemed like stones to me . Anyway , the opposite team score the first goal to our disappointment . But our boys caught up with them and in no time the next goal was scored by none other than Marcus the walking wall. We all cheered , surprisingly including me . Our school was finally leading with 3-2 . Before they could continue they were give a break . I saw a cheerleader go upto Marcus and gang with water . Since she was the cheerleader she just utilized the situation on glam up on the field . However , Marcus didn't accept water from her neither did any of them . (note - gang include Marc , Chase , Tyler and Roman , and not the rest .). Instead Marcus ran up to me " Water "

" What ?" I asked with huge eyes .

" Water Jay , gimme that ." and he snatched my bottle , only to drink from it and pour it on his face without leaving a drop of it for me . " Great what am I going to drink "

" Bear with me ." he said and ran off to his team . I turned with my mouth hanging to see Abi gawking at me . " What just happened ?"

" I was going to ask you that ." I replied which made he giggle slightly . And I saw Sandra giving me a glare that looked like " i'm gonna kill you" . This is gonna be a looooonnng night .
