LOST FRIENDSHIP

# MARCUS POV

"Ethan" she mumbled and my heart sunk . I was her first best friend . First ever friend . I gave her a weak smile . I wanted to hug her and tell her that I will always be by her side from now on and she didn't have to worry , but since I caused enough damage I can't just ignore that fact and jump on my emotions , so I let that pass.

" Now its my turn to ask ." she said snapping me out of my thoughts.

" Fine go ahead "

" How many girlfriends have you had ?"

" Many but none lasted . I was never serious with any . They all apparently had the same mind set ."

I answered being more open with her since I had so much to say , few can be answered through her question.

" Favorite color ?"

" Aquamarine "

" Woaw . okay . Favorite dish?"

" Chinese spicy noodles , the ones you get from yakudze specifically."

" I love 'em too . First kiss ?"

" I wouldn't call that first kiss , rather drunken unintentional one . I don't remember the girls name."

" Gross. Are you a virgin?"

" Lost that the same drunken night . And I didn't stop after too."

" Unbelievably gross . ." I was hurt hearing that , hoping she wont see me any different .

And as if she read my mind she said " Don't worry I ain't gonna judge you on that ."

" Thanks."

" So.. on with the questions. How did you feel when you got adopted ?"

" Happy ."

" And how about when you got true friends ."

" Double happy . But it was still missing something ."

" Who was the first to be your friend?"

" Jay " and we had a 5 second eye contact after I said that . I don't know but I kind of loved it whenever we had one .

" If you wanted a wish come true what would that be ?"

" It would be for you to forgive me and we start over our lost friendship ." I said looking at her , and that's when I realized I had been staring at her for a long time . But I wasn't bored of it . I could look at the girl who gave me happiness forever .

" It's getting late I think we should go ." She said after an awkward silence .

" Yea we should ." I agreed and walked her home ,

" See you at school . And can I have your number ?" She has a questioned look on her face .

" I mean in case I need help with anything or I get lost or "

" Gimme your phone ." She asked interrupting .

" Right here " She dialed her number and we both went our ways .

From that day on I tried my best to get closer to her . As I said I wasn't going to give up on her . We met at school . I would talk to her if we both had a break in between classes . When we were in the same class , I used to annoy her , pulling her hair and passing chits . The rest of my team noticed the change obviously.

Chase - " So what's cooking between you and nerdy?"

" Don't call her that . She's got a name ."

Roman - " Woaw , That's new."

Tyler- "Yeah , for real ."

Chase - " Whipped "

" Chase , how about I take Abi on a date ?"

Chase's expression changed and I could say he had an urge to blow up my face " What did you just say ?"

" I can see who's whipped now ." I winked at him .

" F**k off" saying that he walked away annoyed .

Tyler -" What was that ?"

Roman - " Whipped " at that we all laughed . Although I knew I would have to make it up to him . Can't get someone lively like him to stay mad at me , yet I knew he would still be annoying . Problem with Chase is , he never expresses . He'll tell you indirectly and I mean in ways a human can't understand . So I had to find a way and I knew who to consult . I walked to the library to find jay sitting and reading a book . This girl is surely a bookworm. I slowly sat next to her . " Jay "

I whispered only for her to lower the book and peek at me . That's when I realized that she's been munching chocolate . I put my hand in front , signaling ' even I want ' with a pout . She nodded 'NO'.

" Then your bunking the last class and coming with me or i'll tell the professor your having chocolate when your not supposed to eat in the library." I said smirking making her widen her eyes and nod quickly . " I don't wanna skip classes . What the hell ?"

" Oh please just one class won't harm ."

" No!."

" Please!"

" Why ?"

" I'll tell you once we get out of here."

" NO!" she whispered loudly .

" You gonna listen or you want me to tell the professor ?"

" I did rather be thrown out than bunk ."

" You wont listen then I'm gonna take you ."

" Ma..." before she could say my name I took her by her wrist and pulled her out even though she refused . She kept pulling herself back when I lost it and just carried her like a baby by her waist . She's indeed very tiny .

" Put me down ." she screamed right at my face . Ow ! my ears .

" Shut up woman , I'll put you down once we reach my ride ok ." I Said looking at her . And when we reached the car , she started wiggling to let her out of my hands which made me hold her even more tighter . Then she looked at me and into my eyes . Her face was at my level and I could get lost in those eyes . We were so f**king close oh my gosh ! I felt my heart racing . Both of us were breathing and that was the only thing we both could hear . " Call Abi and tell her to come to STAKE AND SHACK . And ." My gaze slightly fell on her lips,and i gulped, " and don't go. I mean call your dad and tell him i'll be dropping you home . " I was still holding her to my face . " Please ?" She nodded ok and I put her down , but her blush did not go unnoticed by me .
