***Earlier That Day***
I looked down at the text I just received from Katrina, feeling a sense of relief wash over me as I saw a picture of Sammy grinning happily at the camera. He was so adorable. It was hard not to smile while looking at it.
Grayson and Katrina offered to watch Sammy this evening while me and Grant went out for dinner. I was both excited and nervous at the same time. A part of me wanted to spend New Years Eve with Sammy as well, but I also felt excited to go on a date with Grant. Our first real date.
This past week has been incredible. And the fact that I have stayed at Grant's apartment every night is surprising. I feel more comfortable there than I probably should. And those protective feelings for Sammy I seem to have are only multiplying.
