(Stephanie) I stirred the pasta slowly, letting my thoughts drift back to what happened at the beach as I let my gaze wander. Sammy was sitting across the kitchen island with Clay right beside him. Clay's head was bandaged up, and he had some bruises forming on his eyes and cheek. I felt horrible for him, but I could tell he felt guilty. He has been apologizing nonstop since Sammy and I woke up from our nap. I was told right away that Grant went to handle some things.
