I watched as Grant clung to me tightly. Everything he had just said caused my heart to ache as I saw the pain he felt peering up at me with those big blue eyes.
"Tell me. I'm ready to listen now." I whispered, wanting Grant to open up to me. This went deeper than just lying about Sammy being his son.
This was something that had affected Grant his whole life and the way he wrapped himself around me, unwilling to let go, I knew it must be bad.
"I just can't lose you too. I'm f****d up Stephanie. I know this isn't right, but seeing you try to walk out of that door-" He stopped himself as some type of emotion began to creep it's way up.
I know Grant just locked me in a closet and cuffed me to a bed, but this urge to comfort and console him had me pulling at the cuffs.
