I watched as mommy lifted her hand, brushing my hair away from my face before getting that nervous look in her eyes again. She is worried about something but won't say what.

They think I'm too little to know what's going on, but I'm not. I have done a lot of stuff before Dad came and got me. My old mom was never home, and I learned to do everything all by myself. Yeah, I might've been scared a lot of those times, but dad says it's good to be afraid now and then because that's what builds up courage.
Now that I'm with my new mom and dad, I know I will never be alone again. Not since Dad brought my mom home to live with us. Miss Stephanie is the perfect mommy. She is kind, sweet, funny, and very protective over me.
