"Luke, what are we doing?" I asked softly while interlocking my fingers with his. "Laying in bed" he said teasingly, making me feel annoyed. "You know that't not what I meant." I muttered "Ugh Kat, I don't know okay. I don't want to put any labels on what we're doing. Guess you can say, we're just f*****g around". He groaned, pulling his hand away from mine. Ouch! It felt like I just got stabbed in the heart. How can he say that so casually? I felt tears streaming down my cheeks, thankful that I was facing away from him. 

I felt myself drifting off to sleep while cuddling Fluffy. "Kat! Kat!" Lily said shaking me. Huh, what's going on. I opened my eyes to look around and I saw Luke next to me shirtless. S**t! This looks bad. I glanced back at Lily who was looking at me with questioning eyes. "No, Lily nothing happened". I said quickly, "He just came to lay with me because I was crying." She looked at my pillow and saw blank marks from my smudged mascara. Thank goodness there was evidence!

"Still, I think you should get up now because if dad see's you with him like this, you know he'll get angry" she said worried. I nodded and got up, covering Luke with the blanket because it was still chilly outside. I felt embarrassed that Lucy caught us together like she did but even though she was only 16, I knew she had my back because she understood what dad would do if he saw something like this. Just the though of it, sent chills down my spine. 

It was Saturday morning and I remembered that I have a date with Andy this afternoon. I felt guilty because of what happened on the couch yesterday but I mean we weren't anything yet, right? I thought, trying to convince myself that what I was doing, was okay, but I knew it wasn't. 

I climbed into the shower and let the hot water wash away all the worries and guilt. I just stood there for what seemed like forever. I eventually climbed out and wrapped myself in a towel, walking over to the sink to brush my teeth. I walked to my parents room to find them out of bed already with a note "We went on a hike with Mandy and Charlie, we'll see you tonight. Love you! xx". I sighed, flopping down on the bed. 

I scratched through my suitcase to find something to wear for this afternoon and settled on a navy blue summer dress that stopped mid-thigh, showing off my toned legs. I chose a pair of brown leather sandals and earrings to go with my dress. 

I wanted to do something different with my hair so I decided to straighten it and let it hang loosely down my back. I thought light brown smokey eye shadow would compliment my brown eyes. 

Before leaving the room, I gave myself a once over in the mirror. I looked pretty cute I thought to myself. I walked down the hall way and into the kitchen to hear my phone vibrating on the counter. It was Andy. 

Andy: Morning beautiful, Ill be there in 30? That okay? 

Kat: Morning, I'm ready. xx

Andy: Great! Oh and I almost forgot, bring your bikini with.

Kat: Uh okay but why?

Andy: You'll see later.... See you in a bit. xx

Hmm what does this guy have planned? I dug out my leather back back and put my bikini, a towel and sunscreen in it and made my way to the front porch.
