I head to the lift and take it up to the third floor. Last year’s room, 2.06, is gone—now, Freya and I are in 3.28. Our new room is right at the corner where the corridor bends. I take out the keycard, slide it into the lock, and push the door open. The moment I step inside, I let out an audible gasp. None of the rooms have ever had a feature like this before. This space sits at the very edge of the building, and since there’s no floor above, that fact has been used to full advantage. The last two metres of the room and the entire back wall, where the window used to be, are now completely glass.
