Ella's last exam was on Wednesday afternoon and it was that evening that I planned to give her the dress I'd gotten her to wear for the wedding. My last exam was Thursday afternoon and it couldn't come sooner. I was supremely glad that I was having a year off from education while I waited for Ella to finish school too.
Friday was then the day we'd travel up to the Lake District where we'd stay overnight before heading to the wedding at midday the next day.
It was going to be a busy week.
On Wednesday evening, I took Ella back up to my room after dinner.
"So, I've got two things to give you," I tell her, shutting the door behind us.
"First," I say happily, going to my wardrobe and taking out the garment bag. Her eyes light up.
"Ohh I've been thinking about this all week!" she exclaim
