***Ella*** Sunday passed in a blur of snow and adrenaline, capped off by an interesting night skiing session. The slopes were lined with lights, but given our enhanced vision, we barely needed them. I wasn’t sure what Ollie had said to Freya the other night, but their interactions had been oddly polite and quiet ever since. Austin had noticed too. Still, we’d all had a great time, and for the first time in a while, I felt completely at ease. Now, on Monday afternoon, nerves were creeping in for tonight’s meeting.
