Anabella's POV
''Because I don't want to.'' He said while holding my gaze with me.
''What do you mean by that?'' I asked, confused, but he heaved a heavy sigh and turned his back to me.
''Was he the reason you ran away.'' He expressed those words as an order, wanting an answer from me. Gulping nervously, I licked my lips and thought of what to say to him, but I couldn't find the right word.
''Anabella.'' He called out my name for the first time.
''I need answers from you.'' He expressed those words in order and turned around to face me with an expressionless look on his face.
''Why did you leave? I want the truth.'' He spoke firmly
''I believe you already know the reason,'' I murmured out to his hearing, but he shook his head and said
''I know nothing.'' He replied, while I heaved
