Krystal watched as Sophia let out a huge sigh, a downcast expression on her face. If Sophia looked this sad, then how much of a mess did she look?
“Please, don’t leave, Krystal.” Sophia pleaded and Krystal let out an exhausted sigh, shaking her head.
“Why shouldn't I? Huh? There is nothing for me here. I didn't come here to get humiliated like this. I came so that I wouldn't be separated from my mate and look at what I got in return. I'm leaving. I'm going back to Winter Claw.”
Krystal's voice quivered as her eyes blurred with tears and Sophia's eyes went wide as saucers.
“Back to Winter Claw? But you know firsthand how horrible that pack is. Why would you ever want to go back there?”
