Krystal’s heart rate sped up as Zale’s warm arms slowly enveloped her. She leaned into him, inhaling his strong and spicy scent. She had missed him so damn much and she was just glad that he was here.
“Zale,” She whispered as his arms around her grew tighter. “Are you okay?”
“I am now,” He answered and she could clearly hear the exhaustion in his voice. “I missed you so much.” He rasped and a smile made its way onto her face. He just said exactly what she was thinking.
“I missed you too, sweetheart.” She replied, her smile growing wider as he planted a soft kiss onto her forehead.
She slowly pulled away from the hug, feeling her heart do a flip as she looked into his
beautiful blue eyes.
