Krystal let out a huge sigh of relief as all her siblings were now safely out of the cave. Now, all she had to do was get Zale out too.
“Come on.” She said to Zale her arm tightening around him as they began moving toward the entrance.
Krystal’s entire body sagged with relief as they were almost there, when suddenly, a huge rock dropped from the top of the cave, instantly blocking the entrance of the cave.
“s**t!” Krystal yelled as she scurried out of the way with Zale. That was a close call. If she was just a second late, they would have been smashed to smithereens by the rock.
“Are you okay?” She asked Zale who looked like he was beginning to gain his strength back although he still looked pale and extremely exhausted.
He nodded. “I’m fine. Are you okay?”
“Yes, I am.” She respond
