I help her up onto the horse chosen for us to ride, Sebastian. She seems so nervous, which the horse can sense, I just hope he doesn’t play with her. I hop up behind her and once she is comfortable we start to slowly go down the pathway. I have my arms wrapped around her, holding the reins in front of her. She relaxes a little bit at a time, leaning into me. So far the horse is behaving, not trying to play any tricks on us.
Half an hour later Savina speaks,
“This is not as scary as I thought it would be. It’s kind of fun actually”
“I thought you’d like it once you got used to it” I smile
We stop at a nearby lake, I help her dismount, tying the horse to a nearby tree.
