Awake
Hayden The ambulance came and took Savina and Mathias to the hospital. I followed closely behind. Savina is still asleep. The doctor said she is in a coma, she doesn’t know when or if she will wake up. Mathias is very healthy and has strong vitals. I hold him in my arms as I sit beside Savina’s bed. The nurses keep asking me if I want to put him down and rest for a while, but I keep telling them no. “Sir, visiting hours are over now” A nurse says to me. “I’m not leaving here alone” I snap at her, Mathias looks around the room, trying to find the new voice. He is very alert for a newborn. “Sir.. we have strict policies” “He can stay as long as he wants” Dr. Foster comes into the room, waving her hand and dismissing the nurse. She doesn’t look pleased but she leaves us alone. Dr.
