Chapter 17

Sabrina calmed down after a while and apologized to Kyle. “I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions” she said softly as the car slowly stopped Infront of a house. The house was nice looking, it looked as if it was expensive. She watched as Kyle jumped out with the ice scraper in one hand and his other hand free. He typed something into the garage door opener and slowly it opened with a screech making Sabrina wince “God why is it so loud?” she complained as Kyle jumped back in.

Jason pulled the car into the garage and closed the door as Kyle explained ‘ Forgot to oil it “ he explained

Sabrina rolled her eyes “ Okay lets go together to check the house and get actual weapons “ she said "After all I don't think the ice scrapper will actually help us" she said taking a look around the garage " Wait kyle your real big into anime right?" she asked " Don't you collect swords and stuff?" she asked

Kyle who had been opening a door looked back at Sabrina in shock “ Just because I like Anime doesn’t mean that I have a sword collection” he said before breaking into a smile “ They are called katanas” he corrected “Come on I'll show you my collection “ he said with a jerk of his head to the direction of the door he just opened. Sabrina was the first of the four teens to head into the door and up the steps. The smell of dragons blood incense was the first thing to hit her.

“ I do love dragons blood didn’t know you were into incense Kyle “ she said though she didn’t hang out in the same crowd as Kyle. Kyle was a jock and a nerd whereas Sabrina and her ragtag group of friends were the ones who really just tried to blend in and not be seen. Sabrina’s eyes widened as she stepped into a room filled with shelves of Mangas, and anime box sets. There were even figurines as well as an entire wall of weapons. There was a sitting area Infront of a large tv. “Wow “Sabrina said surprised. She walked over to the weapons and reached out for a pink katana she stopped a moment before touching it. She looked back at Kyle “Can I?” she asked Kyle smiled at her and nodded

“ Yeah here” he said slipping past her to take the sword off the wall for her. He handed it to her. Sabrina pulled the sword out of its Sleath. The sword was black all black except for its handle and stealth which had been pink. She smiled “Will this work with helping us defend ourselves?” she asked him.

Kyle nodded “Yeah Ill even teach you how to use one later “he offered before reaching and grabbing one for himself before giving Bri and Jason one to defend themselves with. Sabrina smiled at Kyle. Kyle smiled back before leading the group, now armed, into his house from the garage to look around and make sure no one infected was inside. Once they were sure they were alone, and all windows and doors locked the groups split up. Bri and Jason went off to take that shower they had been talking about.
