Sabrina stood a bit awkwardly with Kyle in the living room “ So umm what should we do?” she asked feeling a bit awkward. She honestly didn’t even know why she asked him what he wanted to do. She was covered in blood and other things. The best thing she could do now was go take a shower and borrow some of his mother's clothes.
Kyle smiled a bit “Why don’t I show you to the master bathroom so you can get cleaned up “he offered “I need a shower as well, but I'll wait till you're done “he said she sighed
“Yeah thanks, “she said " Hey, Kyle?" she asked
Kyle looked up at her, a bit confused " Yeah, Sabrina?" he asked
"Thank you for everything I know we aren't friends or from the same social group in school but I'm glad you made it out with us and are letting us crash at your place for the night I appreciate it “she said awkwardly.
Kyle chuckled a bit " I always wanted to talk to you, Sabrina I just... You know how Emma is... was" he said "Does this mean you want to take me up on that shower?" he asked jokingly
Sabrina snorted out a laugh. "Don't be a d**k, Kyle. Now get out," she said playfully, shoving him out of the master bedroom and closing the door behind him. Sabrina looked to the clothes Kyle had laid out for her. it was a pair of sweatpants and an old band tee. She smiled a bit She grabbed the clothes before going into the master bath and taking a long shower.
As she showered, she let the day's events flood through her mind. Now she saw that in the end even if Matt had made it to that room, he wouldn't of made it out of the window like everyone else. She would of lost him anyway one way or another. She mourned her loss just taking the time to cry and grieve the loss of her best friend. However, she knew Matt would of wanted her to find happiness again. Although she had lost a friend today it had seemed like a new one was blossoming. Sabrina once she was done showering dried off and got changed into the clothes Kyle had lent her. She sighed and left the master bedroom hearing the sounds of laughter coming from downstairs. She paused and listened closely she could make our Bri, and Jasons voices followed by Kyles. She relaxed and made her way down the steps, seeing her friends piled up on the couch. Her eyes shifted from her friends to the plates of food and drinks on the table. She joined them and started to eat with them. Dinner was quiet before Kyle decided to speak, breaking the awkward silence.
“I think we should all talk about our plans going forward as well as just what actually happened at the school” he said
Bri was the first to speak “It wasn’t a senior prank that’s for sure.” she said and almost instantly after her words were spoken
Jason piped in. “It doesn’t make any sense Zombies cant talk” he said then elaborated “Dante on the intercom how do we explain that?” he asked holding Bri as she shuttered and murmured
“As well as those jocks pouring barbeque sauce on that kid” she said
