“Ah we can just skip my house parents are out on a business trip,” he said sounding worried.

Sabrina thought for a moment. “Them being gone might be a good thing,” she said to ease his mind

“Yeah maybe,” he said

“Tell me about your set up? we are going to need a place to stay the night, “Sabrina said.

Kyle thought for a moment “Well it's your average house we could probably stay the night in the garage there is a small apartment above it” he said

Sabrina smiled “ That sounds perfect!” she said “ Assuming it's not surrounded by the infected” she said “Put the address in the GPS Jason will get us there “ she told him. She watched as Kyle put the address in then helped Bri pass out waters and a bag of chips and jerky to everyone “Lunch” Sabrina explained at the boy’s questioning glance. “Lunch of survivors I promise dinner will be better! We are going to have cup noodles” she exclaimed.

Bri snorted out a laugh almost losing her water in the process.

“No we will have actual food Brina “ Kyle said “ I have some food in the room above the garage.

Sabrina watched out the window as the city passed by around them. It looked as though what had happened at the school had hit a few places in the city but mostly it looked dead. As if the city was a ghost town which was hard to believe with all the buildings. But none the less there wasn’t any activity of the dead besides a few wrecks and some splashes of blood here and there. “Where is everyone?” Sabrina asked the others in the car.

Bri was the first to answer Sabrina “Yeah honestly not sure maybe they all ran home? But that doesn’t explain why no one is picking up their cell phones” she said “ Even 911 is still busy” she complained

Sabrina nodded “ Yeah something doesn’t feel right honestly” she said “What is your boys thoughts?” she asked instantly regretting adding them into the conversation. Jason smirked swerving the car to avoid a wreck

“I think it just means no more adult figures for right now which means we can do what ever we want when ever we want!” he said winking at Bri “ For example once we get to Kyle’s for the night I plan on taking a shower with Bri.

Kyle snuck a peek back at the girls “So does that mean maybe you and I can hang out Sabrina?” he asked hopefully

Sabrina made a gagging noise “Not if you're talking about s*x” she said “I don’t find you attractive Kyle. I loved Matt I wanted Matt” she said feeling hot tears fill her eyes a moment later her vision was blurred as Bri pulled her into a hug. Sabrina sobbed softly into her friends chest.

Kyle sighed “ I'm sorry Sabrina.. I … I didn’t mean like that I meant I wanted to get to know you I know you loved matt I'm sorry for what Emma did” he said softly
