Chapter 14

Sabrina laughed actually laughed “Oh no I'm not going to kill you” she said “infact I'm going to let those you just fed to those zombies kill you” she said before punching Emma right in the nose a loud c***k sounded in the room as Sabrina felt the crunch of Emma’s nose under her fist. Sabrina used Emma’s stunned state to quickly open the window again but also sprinted to the door, opened it then sprinted back to the window. She slipped out of it and shut it firmly before Emma even had the chance to react. Emma’s screams filled the air as those she had just damned to die started to converge on her. Sabrina watched as flesh was pulled from muscle and muscle from bone as Emma met her fate, the same fate she had just dammed so many to face.

Sabrina wasn’t expecting it to be so calm outside. By calm it was not as chaotic as it was inside the school yes there were still zombies about and random spaces of blood and other vestral. However, her quick run to the awaiting car was not as hard on her as she had expected it to be. Once she was inside the back seat of the jeep. She allowed herself to catch her breath. Though the moment she could start to breathe, actually breathe she started to sob hard. Tears streaming down her cheeks at the thoughts of what had become of not only her best friend Matt but also what had happened to her classmates and teachers. She felt the car lurch as it started to move. They were safe for now. They were finally on their way to safety or at least she hoped they would find a safe place. Three, three was how many had gotten out of the school unschaved. Three total was the survivors of the school at least that’s what Sabrina knew. This wasn’t the end this was just the beginning.

Sabrina stayed in the back seat sobbing for what felt like an eternity that was until a touch on her knee had her jerking away with a yelp. She looked up to see Bri staring back at her.

“Hey Hun I kind of need the keys so we can get out of here” she said Sabrina nodded that made perfect sense of course they couldn’t leave without the keys. She reached into her bag grabbing out the keys and passing them to Bri. Bri passed them to Jason who started the jeep and started to drive. Sabrina looked numbly at her knuckle that was bloody. She sighed and rubbed the blood off onto her jeans.

“They're all dead “she said softly

"We know Hun” Bri said “Just try to get some sleep We will take first shift on driving.” she said It hit Sabrina then that someone was missing from the car

“Wait what happened to Kyle?” she asked, sounding concerned.

“Surprise!” Kyle said popping out from the trunk area of the jeep it was directly behind Sabrina. Sabrina didn’t even think she screamed then reacted by punching Kyle right in the jaw. She watched as his head snapped to the side and he crumpled back down into the back as if he hadn't been there in the first place. The sound of Bri’s laughter really pissed off Sabrina and she whirled on her friend after taking a moment to check Kyle’s pulse he was alive just knocked out. “I don’t fine any of this funny Bri” Sabrina growled
