Lancaster family inheritance

1130 Words
A young woman, Elia Lancaster, was soft-hearted and wise, who was beloved by her family and respected by the Lancaster kingdom’s people. She was the only child who could take over her father's place and set off to inherit the vast Lancaster Kingdom, a stretch of property that had been in her family for generations. The kingdom is not only a symbol of prosperity and potential, but also a place filled with cherished memories and a deep perception of leadership. King Leo Lancaster, Elia's father, had always implanted in her the values of empathy, solidarity, and obligation. Under his direction, she had grown into a wise and compassionate individual, respected by all who knew her. She was well-educated, having studied various types of subjects such as literature, history, and the arts, and was known for her great intelligence and sharp astuteness. The Lancaster castle, with its rolling hills, lush forest and a river flowing beside the castle, was an attestation to the family's bequest. It was a place where Elia had spent her childhood, surveying the vast grounds, reading under the ancient oak tree and learning the convolution of kingdom management from her father. She felt a deep connection to the land and its people, and she was insistent on honoring her family's legacy by being a just and gracious king. The night was to remember, as Elia's family and friends, a noble family assembled to celebrate her inheritance. As Elia's family and friends interlaced, the sound of clinking glasses and the soft hum of jazz music filled the air. The grand ballroom was indeed a sight to behold, with its high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and walls adorned with priceless artwork. The room was a delightful color, with the graceful tables dressed in fine linen and set with sparkling crystal and silverware. Everybody was waiting for Elia’s present. Elia found herself drawn to the window, where she gazed out at the moon hanging in the middle of the sky. She felt an incomprehensible pull towards the night, as if it held some sort of answer to the mystery that lay before her. “Your highness, it’s time to go.” Elia’s personal maid called out to her. “Oh, Lina, you come?” Elia asked her maid with surprise. “Your highness, are you alright?” Lina worriedly asked Elia. “Yes, but I'm a little nervous. That's all. Not to worry. Let’s go”. Elia ensured Lina that everything was alright. “Your highness, Let me hold your hand.” Lina took Elia’s hand and walked with her. Elia, a petite beauty with raven-black hair and piercing emerald eyes, descended the stairs with an air of confidence and poise that commanded attention. Her flowing silver gown, adorned with intricate embroidery, shimmered in the flickering candlelight as she moved. The room fell silent, with all eyes fixed on the mysterious young woman. Her presence was mesmerizing, a combination of elegance and enigma that drew people in like moths to a flame. As she reached the bottom of the staircase, the crowd parted, creating a path for her. Whispers of admiration and curiosity rippled through the room, but Elia seemed oblivious to the attention, her gaze focused ahead, betraying no emotion. At that moment, she was a vision of grace and mystery, captivating everyone with her silent allure. “What a beauty! I wanna dance with her.” How about you, your excellency?” By asking that Stuart Charles mocked Aren Blackwood. “All pleasure is yours, your grace. I have no interest in her.” Aren replied. Stuart drank a sip of red wine. “Ha ha ha. If your excellency is out of my way, I have to take the opportunity.” Stuart even mocked Aren more. Stuart came in front of Elia. Elia saw a handsome young man come towards her. His navy blue silky hair swayed in the light breeze. His golden eyes twinkled like stars in the night sky inside the mask. He had a bright smile on his face. He is wearing a long coat with silver thread work, white iners, white pants and a silver shirt inside. He also wore a black bow tie with a large white stone in the middle. “Congratulations, your highness.” Stuart greeted Elia. “Thank you, but how should I greet you?” Elia thanked him and asked who he was? I’m Stuart Charles, the duke of the Lancaster kingdom. May I have a chance to dance with you, your highness?” Stuart politely extended his hand to Elia with a bright smile. Meanwhile, lots of noble princes offer Elia to dance with them. But Elina couldn’t see any of them due to the fact that they wore a mask on their faces. Elia got confused about whom she chose. Suddenly, Elia saw a young man who was sitting on the couch with a glass of wine. He seems to have no interest in the party. “What an elegant dress ! And he also wears an elegant mask over his eyes. Who is he?”. Elia mumbled to herself. Suddenly, the young man went outside. Elia wanted to follow him. “Excuse me! Give me a moment. I promise I’ll come back soon.” Elia asked permission of all the young men who surrounded her. “But, your highness?” “You’re Stuart? I promise I’ll dance with you.” Saying that, she started running to where the young man was going. The young man went to the garden. She followed him till he stopped. After some time later. Elia went back to the castle. Stuart waits for her. “Your highness, have you met him?” Stuart asked Elia if she had met the young man ? “Um, yes duke Stuart Charles, I did.” “Forget this, your highness. Let’s dance.” By saying that, Stuart pulled me to him and started dancing with me. His movements were so flawless that Elia was impressed. As Elia's relatives and familiarity applaud her for her good fortune. But they didn't know their storm was brewing in the range of vision. Just as Elia was about to give her favorable reception oration, the door burst open, and a mysterious woman, Cloye, stalked into the room. Her eyes scanned the crowd, settling on Elia with a vigor that sent trembles down her spine. "Who is this woman? How could she enter the hall?" Elia's father, King Leo, asked with concern. Cloye held up a heap of documents, her hands stable. "I am Cloye, the rightful heiress to this kingdom. Leo and his daughter aren't the rightful heir and heiress. They are fake and vicious. And I have proof." “To be continued Stay Tuned”
