Prologue

Beginning. The sacred Blood Moon still hung high above the night sky when Alpha Prince Theo George finished the forbidden mating ceremony with Althea Moor. Silver flames danced around the ancient altar hidden deep within the Shadow Forest, while the scent of moonflowers and wolf magic lingered in the cold air. The mark on Althea’s neck still glowed faintly… proof that the Moon Goddess herself had witnessed their union. Yet despite the warmth of his new mate standing beside him, Theo could not silence the words echoing endlessly inside his mind. “Go through with this marriage, and the entire George Bloodline will cast you out.” His father’s warning struck harder than any blade. The Alpha King had made himself clear: Althea would never be accepted as Theo’s Luna. But none of it mattered. Theo loved her. And even if the entire werewolf realm turned against them, he would never allow anyone to destroy the bond they had sworn beneath the Blood Moon. That was why their marriage had remained hidden from everyone. No royal celebration. No blessing from the elders. No grand ceremony before the packs. Only four trusted friends stood as witnesses to their secret union… the same people who signed the ancient mating contract bound by blood and wolf magic. “Congratulations to both of you,” Nervana said with a graceful smile. The beautiful she-wolf stepped closer and embraced Althea warmly before whispering against her ear. “Take care of your Alpha, Althea… and don’t let another woman steal him from you.” Althea frowned slightly at the strange warning. Before she could respond, Nervana had already stepped away. Almost unconsciously, Althea’s eyes drifted toward Theo. Her husband. Moon Goddess… he looked devastatingly handsome beneath the crimson moonlight. His dark silver hair moved gently with the wind, while the golden glow in his Alpha eyes made his heart race uncontrollably. Now that they were finally bound together, she had every right to call him hers. But the warmth in her chest faltered when she noticed something strange. Theo was staring at Nervana. Not just glancing. Watching her. Althea was about to call his attention when another woman approached them. Alice. Among their circle, Alice had always been the gentlest. “Althea, you should leave now,” Alice reminded softly while glancing toward the darkening sky. “The storm is getting worse.” Only then did Althea notice the violent winds moving through the forest trees. “Thank you… all of you,” Althea said sincerely. The four witnesses stood silently beneath the Blood Moon… two powerful couples feared throughout the werewolf realm. Each of them held influence, wealth, and terrifying abilities within their respective packs. Soon after, Theo escorted Althea toward the private royal chopper waiting near the Cliffside. Its silver insignia gleamed beneath the moonlight… the symbol of the George Royal Bloodline. “Honey… maybe we should postpone the honeymoon,” Althea said nervously as thunder echoed across the mountains. “The weather feels dangerous.” Theo gently brushed his fingers against her cheek. “My love, this honeymoon is important,” he explained softly. “The Royal Healing Council only granted me one month away from the hospital because of our wedding.” Althea lowered her gaze as another violent gust of wind struck the royal aircraft. “But the storm feels dangerous…” she whispered uneasily. “Even the wolves inside me can feel it.” Theo smiled softly before pressing a lingering kiss against her forehead, his warm scent immediately calming the restless wolf within her. “Trust me, my Luna,” he murmured. “Nothing in this realm would dare harm you while I’m beside you.” Althea fell silent after that. Instead, she rested her head against his shoulder while the royal chopper ascended higher into the dark, storm-covered sky above the Silver Forest. Deep inside, she understood him. For three long years, their relationship had been hidden from the werewolf realm… nothing but stolen kisses beneath moonlit trees, secret meetings far from the packs, and quiet moments shared in places no one could find them. Now they were finally bound together beneath the Blood Moon. Husband and wife. Alpha and Luna. And Althea knew Theo had waited desperately for the moment he could finally claim her completely. The moment the aircraft stabilized in the sky, Theo slid the dark divider shut, separating them from the pilot. Then he pulled her onto his lap. His lips captured hers hungrily, yet there was still tenderness beneath the kiss… a dangerous mixture that made her entire body weaken against him. Althea trembled softly as his fingers brushed along her waist, his Alpha aura wrapping possessively around her like a flame. “My Luna…” Theo whispered roughly against her ear, his voice deepened by desire. “I don’t think I can wait until we reach the honeymoon territory.” A shy smile touched Althea’s lips the moment she felt the growing heat in his body. “Honey…” she whispered softly while tracing her fingers against his chest. “Can I touch you?” Theo’s glowing golden eyes darkened instantly, his wolf reacting possessively to her words. “Of course,” he growled softly. “Every part of me belongs to you.” Althea smiled before kissing him again. But suddenly… her entire body stiffened. A strange sensation slithered through her chest. Cold. Sinister. Predatory. Her wolf immediately stirred in alarm. Althea abruptly pushed Theo away. “My Luna?” Theo asked in confusion, concern instantly flashing across his face. “What’s wrong?” Althea’s eyes darted toward the storm raging outside the aircraft. The clouds above the Silver Forest had turned unnaturally black, while violent winds clawed against the aircraft like invisible beasts. “Honey…” she whispered nervously. “Don’t you feel it? Something’s wrong.” Theo frowned slightly before shaking his head. “You’re only nervous because of the storm… ” Before he could finish… the entire aircraft shook violently. A deafening explosion echoed above them. Althea screamed as the royal chopper suddenly spiraled downward. Thunder roared across the heavens. The world twisted uncontrollably around them as alarms blared throughout the aircraft. Fear consumed her instantly. Theo immediately wrapped his arms tightly around her, shielding her body with his own while his Alpha aura exploded protectively around them. And with nothing else left to do… Althea closed her eyes. - Althea slowly opened her eyes, only to be blinded by the harsh silver light above her. Pain immediately pierced through her skull, forcing her to shut them again. But the moment furious voices echoed around the room, her eyes snapped back open. “You shameless wolf!” a woman shrieked. “This is all your fault!” Althea blinked weakly, her vision still blurred as the scent of medicine and wolfsbane filled the surrounding air. “W-What are you talking about…?” she asked faintly. A sharp slap suddenly struck her face. Then another… and another. “I’ll kill you myself if my son doesn’t wake up!” the woman screamed before grabbing Althea violently by the hair. Althea cried out weakly, her body too drained to fight back. “Listen carefully,” the older woman hissed through gritted teeth. “You will never come near my son again. And if Theo dies because of you… your blood will stain this entire place.” Fear crept into Althea’s chest. “H-Husband…?” she whispered painfully. “What happened to my husband?” The woman’s expression instantly darkened with fury. “Husband?” she spat. “You are not my son’s mate! There was never a mating ceremony between the two of you!” Althea froze. “No…” she whispered shakily. “That’s impossible. Theo and I were bound beneath the Blood Moon. We even had four witnesses.” The older woman narrowed her eyes. “Which witnesses?” “Nervana… Alice…” Althea answered desperately. “They were there. They witnessed our union.” She immediately turned toward the familiar faces standing nearby. “Nervana,” Althea pleaded, tears gathering in her eyes. “Tell them the truth… tell them Theo is really my husband.” But Nervana only stared at her with pity. “Althea…” she said softly. “What are you talking about?” Althea’s brows furrowed deeply. How could she deny it? “What’s wrong with you?” Althea cried out weakly. “You were there! You all witnessed our sacred mating ceremony! You even signed the mating contract blessed by the Moon Goddess!” Nervana slowly wrapped her arms around herself before stepping closer to Theo’s unconscious body. “I honestly don’t know what you’re talking about,” she replied quietly. “Because I’m the woman Theo is supposed to marry. We are fated mates.” Althea felt her entire world c***k apart. “That’s not true…” she whispered. “Althea, Nervana is telling the truth,” another man interrupted coldly from the corner of the room. “And the reason you’re here is that you forced Alpha Theo into the aircraft at gunpoint while escaping from the asylum.” Althea stared at him in disbelief. “Asylum…?” she repeated weakly. “What asylum?” “You’ve been confined there for three months,” the man continued mercilessly. “Your mind collapsed after losing your position and suffering severe mental instability.” “No…” Althea whispered, shaking her head repeatedly. “After your violent breakdown, you were transferred here,” he added. “Care Mental Hospital for Supernatural Patients.” Althea’s breathing turned uneven. Her wolf inside her chest whimpered painfully. “T-Then what about the wedding Theo and I had?” she cried as tears streamed endlessly down her cheeks. “What about our bond…?” Silence filled the room. Then Nervana spoke again. “All of that was only inside your imagination, Althea,” she said softly. “There was never a mating ceremony.” Every word felt like silver claws tearing through Althea’s heart. “Theo only visited you because your doctor begged him to,” Nervana continued while holding Theo’s unconscious hand possessively. “You wouldn’t stop obsessing over him… even though he’s my fiancé.” Althea felt like she couldn’t breathe anymore. Her chest tightened painfully. “No…” she whispered brokenly. “Theo is my mate… I know he is…” “Excuse me.” A deep baritone voice suddenly cut through the tension inside the room. “Visiting hours are over. The patient needs to rest.” Everyone turned toward the doorway. Standing there was a tall man dressed in a dark physician’s coat marked with the silver crest of the Shadow Fang Medical Council. The moment Althea saw him, something inside her stirred strangely. Sharp features. Broad shoulders. And silver-gray eyes filled with quiet mystery. Unlike everyone else in the room… he wasn’t looking at her with disgust. He was looking at her as though he pitied her suffering. Was he… her doctor? Althea opened her mouth, wanting to ask him something. But suddenly… a violent pain exploded inside her head. She gasped sharply and clutched her temples. Then she felt the sting of a needle piercing her skin. Her body immediately weakened. Her vision slowly blurred. The surrounding voices faded into distant echoes. Until finally… everything disappeared into darkness. === Luna Althea Moor. She was one of the most feared and respected journalists in the First Universal Network… a woman whose words could destroy empires and expose truths buried beneath blood and power. At a young age, she brought down the legendary anchor journalist, Christian Warren of the once-dominant Al Global Network. His disgrace triggered the collapse of the entire broadcasting empire, reducing one of the most influential media corporations in the realm to ashes. And with that single scandal… Althea Moor became a name the world would never forget. Praised by the innocent. Hunted by the powerful. Because Althea never feared authority. She did not care whose reputation she ruined, whose throne she threatened, or whose secrets she unearthed. For her, truth was sacred. And she was willing to bleed for it. But some truths were never meant to be exposed. One of her most dangerous investigations led her to Benjamin Xavier, a wealthy Latino tycoon whispered to possess ties to hidden werewolf syndicates that operated beneath the First Universal Order… an ancient alliance that kept the existence of supernatural beings hidden from humanity. Fearlessly, Althea exposed his illegal operations to the public. She revealed the disappearances. The underground trafficking. The forbidden experiments involving rogue wolves and silver-blooded hybrids. And in doing so… She unknowingly declared war against monsters hiding behind human faces. From that moment forward, death threats followed her like shadows beneath the Blood Moon. Until one cursed night… gunfire shattered the silence. Two silver bullets pierced dangerously close to her heart. Silver. A metal fatal not only to wolves… but to anyone bound to supernatural blood. Barely clinging to life, Althea was rushed to a secret medical facility that treated both humans and supernatural beings in absolute secrecy. And that was where fate changed forever. That was where she met the man destined to ruin and save her all at once. - Alpha Prince Dr. Theo George. Theo George was more than a gifted surgeon. He was the Alpha Prince of the powerful George Bloodline… one of the oldest and most respected werewolf clans blessed directly by the Moon Goddess herself. Cold. Brilliant. Untouchable. A man feared in both the medical world and among the Alphas. Inside the operating room, Theo never hesitated. Not even when death stood inches away from his patient. Because saving lives was not merely his profession… It was his calling. When Althea Moor was brought into his operating theater, her body poisoned by silver and drowning in blood loss, every doctor in the facility refused to touch her case. Saving her was nearly impossible. But Theo stepped forward without hesitation. And for the first time in his life… The Alpha Prince felt his wolf awaken violently. The moment he touched her hand… The sacred mating bond stirred within his soul. She was his mate. His destined Luna. And somewhere between life and death… Theo George fell hopelessly in love with the woman lying on his operating table. But love among Alpha bloodlines was never simple. Especially not for an heir bound by ancient pack laws. When Theo’s parents discovered that their son had chosen a human journalist tied to forbidden supernatural secrets… They demanded he abandon her. Immediately. They gave him only two choices: Althea Moor… Or the George Bloodline. And behind closed doors, they made certain Theo would never truly have the freedom to choose. - Alpha King Lucas Smith. Lucas Smith was known publicly as a psychiatrist and billionaire businessman. Elegant. Calm. Dangerous. A man whose smile concealed secrets darker than the night itself. But the truth behind Lucas Smith was far more terrifying. The identity of “doctor” was merely a mask. In reality, Lucas was once one of the deadliest operatives of the Central Capital Intelligence Agency… a ruthless supernatural organization responsible for eliminating rogue Alphas, traitors, and awakened beings who threatened the balance of the hidden world. Within the agency, there existed only one rule: No one leaves alive. But Lucas Smith did the impossible. He escaped. And survived. Now, he worked within Care Mental Hospital, a secluded institution hidden deep within the northern territories… a place where mentally fractured humans, rogue wolves, and supernatural beings were secretly confined. Then Althea Moor arrived. Broken. Drugged. And desperately clinging to memories no one else believed. From the very first moment Lucas saw her… His wolf recognized something dangerous. Something sacred and despite himself… He fell for her. Slowly. Irrevocably. But the deeper he observed her condition, the more disturbed he became. Because Althea’s memories did not sound like madness. They sounded real. The man she insisted was her husband… Alpha Prince Theo George, was publicly engaged to Nervana, daughter of an allied Alpha pack. And yet Althea spoke of a secret mating ceremony beneath the Blood Moon. A sacred bond blessed by the Moon Goddess. A marriage erased from every official record. A truth no one else remembered. That was when Lucas began investigating in secret. Because deep inside… He believed one undeniable thing: Althea Moor was not insane. Her mind had not shattered. Someone had manipulated her reality. Someone had buried the truth beneath forbidden magic, memory suppression, and ancient werewolf power. And in a world ruled by hidden Alphas, cursed bloodlines, and deadly supernatural politics… The truth was far more dangerous than madness. Because once the truth awakened… The entire werewolf realm would bleed.
