CHAPTER 1

It was 4am in the morning, My alarm clock sounded,Waking me up in an aggressive manner. I turned up my alarm clock and stood up and wore my floppy slippers and I headed to the kitchen.

"Alexa, is there any message to me from aunt Baio?" I said to the house ai

"yes , she left you a voice mail ", play it" I replied

"Van i have gone off to work ,I saw you asleep and didn't want bother you but when you get up, I stored food for you beside the breakfast machine. Please don't walk to school I left the car keys beside the boxing area. Don't always act like we are managing okay call me earlier around 1 pm, only around 1 pm don't call me earlier than that because I am going to be having a meeting.I will be back on Saturday. Don't bring anybody to the house okay! and I also bought some foodstuffs for you, but if you need anything call me and let me know okay! Bye now.

"record completed" AI said. I took a deep breath and walked towards the bathroom. I took a quick shower because I was already late to school.

I packed my laptop,phones books and headphones in my school bag.

"Alexa open the gates " I said.

"what vehicle would you like to take"

"just give me the bicycle from the yard" I replied

"i'm sorry, but my programmed instruction from miss biao was to park an eu in front of the gate for you"

"okay thanks " I said sarcastically. I didn't want to go to school just to show off .Yes other rich guys of my school drive expensive cars even my juniors but I prefer being casual. I hate being given too much attention.

So I took the eu just so that Alexa would let me out of the gate and I was already late to school. After going out of the gate with the car I parked the car and left it at the left corner of a restaurant not knowing that Alexa was on the screen of the car ,I parked wanting to go out but the door was locked ,a voice said,

"where are you heading to the map says we are heading to Maverick high Institute " Alexa said

I was getting very annoyed

"system override and rebooted" I said

"system shut down completely bye Van. The computer said in a dying motion.

I signed into the computer again

"Welcome Van , I am Alexa what can I do for you today?"

"good " I opened the car and used my phone to turn it off completely. I began walking to school.

On reaching the school he was very late, and got punished for coming late. The bell rang after serving his punishment he headed for his classes . I stood up firmly in front of the class door and pushed it wide open.Entering the class there was no teacher but my mate s thought I was the teacher, When I entered the class was quite noisy," they said hey Van don't scare us like that we thought you were the damn teacher " said Dave, class president he didn't care about education, indirectly he was just known for his respect for teachers and nothing else.Van said "i'm sorry bro,but isn't there suppose to be a teacher her because all other classes are having lessons" I asked the class president .

He replied "bro, go get a seat and seat down,we poisoned the English and math teachers so we wont be having lessons till after lunch break you are not suppose to have a problem with that right?" asked Dave.

Marley the biggest boy in the class said,

"of course I do , if you don't want to have classes go out of the class let those that want to learn stay and are interested stay in class and learn you can skip the class, ill do you a favor by telling the principal that your having a very tough sickness."

"Van!Van! stop talking" Brion my wimpy friend whispered ,

"Or you can tell your parents that school isn't for you, and am sure they will be happy to her that so that they can save their money instead of spending it and wasting it on such ungrateful and hopeless brats and we will also make sure that we make the principal and form teacher change you from being the class president and put another person that is diligent and hardworking unlike you."

The whole class were shocked and surprised, all eyes were on me.

"Who the f**k do you think you are peasant boy " Said Dave moving gradually towards Marley and Aska .

"you've really got a lot of nerve talking to us like that do you think we are mates " Aska said with his meek voice.

My dad is a f***king mayor and he can waste as much as he wants to waste on me and if your dad has problem earning, oh I forgot that you had no dad " Marley said making those other boys burst into laughter.

I got pissed out and was really angry ,

"hey if I ever " I grabbed his collar in anger "ever my dead parents again i promise that you will never have mouth to talk again with ........" before I was able to complete it I got kicked by Aska in the stomach

" what car you do mate your just a fare dog hiding in the bush "Aska thundered ,

"stop!" a voiced yelled from the back of the class and the whole class stared at her .

It was my only crush , for that matter it was every boys crush. she was the prettiest and finest in the whole school and she was also the head girl.

"why are you all sounding childish ,why the hell will you bring someone's dead dad to a small argument Marley , just imagine if your dad was a dead man. "
