Kayla I woke up from the minty scent that surrounded me. It reminded me of a mint chocolate ice cream, and I inhaled it deeply, snuggling into the silky pillow. Something wasn’t right, but my mind swirled in a haze, and I didn’t want to open my eyes. Out of nowhere, my heart started thumping rapidly in my chest, and my skin tingled as a million small ants rushed through my body. The minty scent intensified and, with a groan, I managed to open my eyes. It was so dark; I couldn’t see my own body.
